Luxurious Retreat with Room for Improvement at Emerald Clark's Suites Mysore
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emerald Clark's Suites in Mysore, and while it exceeded my expectations in many aspects, there were a couple of areas that left room for improvement.
Let's start with the positives. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that exuded elegance and sophistication. The suites at Emerald Clark's were spacious, tastefully decorated, and meticulously maintained, providing a haven of comfort during my stay. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, and the cleanliness of the room was commendable. The amenities provided added an extra touch of convenience, enhancing the overall experience.
While the majority of the staff at Emerald Clark's Suites were courteous and professional, there were a couple of areas that fell short. Firstly, the air conditioning in my room was not working properly, which was quite disappointing. Despite notifying the staff about the issue, it took them some time to resolve it, causing discomfort during my stay. This aspect definitely needs attention and improvement to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for all guests.
Another area that requires improvement is the room service. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow, with considerable delays in delivering orders. This affected the overall convenience and efficiency of my stay, as I often had to wait longer than expected for basic amenities or requests. Swift and efficient room service is crucial for a hotel of this caliber, and I hope that Emerald Clark's Suites takes measures to address this issue promptly.
Despite these drawbacks, I must emphasize that the dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was exceptional. The menu offered a delightful variety of both local and international cuisine, and each dish I tried was a culinary masterpiece. The restaurant's ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, providing the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
Furthermore, the hotel's location deserves praise. Situated in a prime area of Mysore, it provided convenient access to popular attractions such as the Mysore Palace and the Chamundi Hills. The surrounding neighborhood was vibrant and safe, with numerous dining and shopping options within walking distance.
In conclusion, Emerald Clark's Suites in Mysore offers a luxurious retreat with a few areas that need attention. The accommodations, overall service, and dining experience were remarkable, but the issues with the air conditioning and slow room service were noticeable drawbacks. I believe that with prompt attention and improvements in these areas, Emerald Clark's Suites has the potential to become an exceptional destination for both business and...
Read moreIt sure gives a lot of luxury to sink into. Pros. They politely welcome you in. There is a luggage cart, with very pleasant bellmen. 2.The staff is very courteous. Rooms are scrupulous. All toiletries provided. Hair dryer too. Wonderful housekeeping staff. Coffee-tea sachets, kettle and more than enough water provided, on request. Downstairs is the famous Saatvik fine dining restaurant. Very accessible location. There is a spa with different kinds of massages, if one is interested. Psst.... And the very next door is a good bar, TUSK. so you know what to do. Cons: I could do without the sandal agarbati burning in the lobby in the evenings, because they somehow believe that much Carbon monoxide is good for you. Parking : (a) Yeah there is basement parking, that one has to go through a very adventurous steep ramp and do an immediate turn to get into. And there, only if LUCKY one can win the available 5-6 parking slots. (b) After that one has to risk themselves, and park in the road out in the front, where the sign clearly says, 'PARKING AT OWNER"S RISK'. They though claim that the guards do their rounds, but, you know how much that's reliable.
Note to the management - Please get more secure parking provision.
Aside from these two cons, the hotel is a real comfy stay....
Read moreMy visit this time with my wife was after a lapse of almost a year. However, we found the property as impeccably clean as ever and the hospitality was indeed warm. The food, in particular, the complimentary breakfast at “ Sathvik” was very tasty with inimitable South Indian cuisine. Idlis were steaming hot and there was a whole variety of chutneys, sambar, to go with vade, dose, upma etc, ,” Masala Dose “was served straight from the pan. This was in addition to the choice of continental breakfast, fresh fruit juices and vegetable salad. There were young and smart staff hailing from all over North and India but seemed very well trained to be courteous and customer friendly along with Kannada speaking local staff. Ms.Priyanka at the reception and Mr.Nayan, the Accommodation Manager, were extremely courteous and they truly represent the required conduct in the hospitality industry. This hotel though located in a residential locality, 2 km off Nanjangud - Ooty road has the advantage of being away from the hustle and bustle of this tourist city of Karnakata. I certainly certainly would look forward to staying here again during my next visit! This is a boon to all those strict vegetarians! Just a suggestion: Can the hotel offer South Indian cuisine at lunch? That would...
