recently had the pleasure of dining at the renowned Satvik restaurant in Mysore, and I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience. Nestled within the charming premises of Hotel Satvik, this restaurant truly lives up to its reputation for offering an authentic and delightful dining experience.
First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant is simply delightful. The decor is tastefully done, with a blend of modern and traditional elements that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The soft lighting and comfortable seating arrangements added to the overall charm of the place. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a relaxed family meal, Satvik provides the perfect setting.
The menu at Satvik is a gastronomic delight, especially for those who appreciate vegetarian and vegan cuisine. As a vegetarian myself, I was delighted to find an extensive range of dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Indian cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and it truly reflects in the vibrant flavors of the dishes.
One of the standout dishes I tried was the Malai Kofta, which consisted of soft, melt-in-your-mouth cottage cheese dumplings in a creamy tomato gravy. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. The Dum Aloo Kashmiri, with its tender baby potatoes cooked in a flavorful yogurt-based gravy, was another highlight. Each dish was a work of art on its own, and it was evident that great care had been taken in their preparation.
The service at Satvik was top-notch. The staff was attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was impeccable. It was evident that the team at Satvik takes great pride in ensuring a memorable dining experience for their guests.
In addition to the fantastic food and service, Satvik also offers a wide selection of beverages, including freshly squeezed juices, lassis, and herbal teas. These refreshing drinks perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Overall, my experience at Satvik in Hotel Satvik was nothing short of exceptional. From the delightful ambiance to the delectable vegetarian cuisine and impeccable service, every aspect of the dining experience was executed with perfection. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply someone who appreciates good food, Satvik is a must-visit restaurant in Mysore. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I look forward to returning to indulge in their culinary...

If you’re ever in JP Nagar, Mysore, and craving a hearty vegetarian breakfast, Sattvik is the place to be. I visited this gem of a restaurant recently, and it left me full and completely satisfied—both in taste and experience.
The moment I walked in, I noticed the welcoming vibe. The ambiance is simple yet clean, perfect for families or anyone who wants a peaceful start to their day. The staff were warm and friendly, always checking if we were comfortable or needed anything. It felt like a personalized dining experience, which isn’t something you find everywhere.
Now, let’s talk about the buffet—it’s a feast! The spread includes everything you’d expect in a solid vegetarian breakfast and more. Fluffy idlis, crispy dosas, piping hot vadas, and even North Indian options like parathas and poha. The food tasted fresh and authentic, as if someone had just made it at home.
But what really stole the show for me was their filter coffee. Unlike most places, where it’s either pre-mixed or overly sweet, Sattvik does something unique. They keep the sugar and coffee decoction separate, so you can mix it exactly how you like. I’m someone who enjoys strong, unsweetened coffee, and this little detail made my day. The coffee itself was rich and flavorful, a perfect finish to a satisfying meal.
Another big plus is the parking. They’ve got plenty of space, which is a blessing when you’re with family and don’t want the hassle of hunting for a spot. Located conveniently on Link Main Road, it’s easy to find and accessible, making it a stress-free experience from start to finish.
For the price, the buffet is absolutely worth it. You get a wide variety, great quality, and small thoughtful touches like the coffee station that elevate the entire experience. Sattvik is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where you can sit back, relax, and truly enjoy your meal.
If you’re in the area, don’t miss it. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Sattvik is one of those spots you’ll be glad you discovered. Trust me, you’ll leave with a happy heart and a...
Read moreThe worse restaurant experience for a family. We called asking if they served jain food and only after confirmation we took a 34min drive to reach there. .
Would never recommend them for people with jain Or no onion no garlic preference. Because that concept seems to be foreign and too complicated for them.
To begin with they gave us a table surrounded by mosquitoes. Upon request to get rid of the mosquitoes they shift us to a table right in the middle of the seating arrangements in front of the kitchen with a very conjusted small door way. And the servers table to the right where all the servers just stood there in groups and stare at you making it uncomfortable.
They got all the orders wrong. Had to send away each item for more than three times to get it right. And even then they brought us the worse tasting food.
There were more servers than the customers and with a weird way of standing in a group around the customers table. None to serve them.
All we asked from them was to not serve any dishes with onion and garlic in it. And they kept bringing the food exactly with the items we requested not to give us.
They kept trying to come pacify eveytime they made the mistake and making the experience even worse with the usual customer service recording of "sorry for the inconvenience caused". We had to literally ask them to stop complicating a simple trip to taste some food and lunch time for my old parents and I.
The most inconvenient place and staff. They kept us waiting for more than 45 mins with just one poorly served chaat and one drink. The rest of the orders had to be sent back several times to give us what...
