Read moreWe wanted to travel from Chennai to Virajpet, Coorg for a holiday and we thought that it would be quite a long drive to do in a day. This being the monsoon season and also heavy rains being predicted we thought that we would break our journey in Mysore and also it would be convenient if we could stay on the road leading to Virajpet and we decided to stay here.
We arrived at about 4P.M and finding this resort was quite easy with the help of Google maps and the sharp eyes of my wife. Its on the main road leading to Virajpet and the Palace is also close by, just about 6 KM from the hotel.
Check in was a 5 minute affair, easy and smooth. The have quite a few buildings with rooms and ample parking space and nice green surroundings. They also have a restaurant called Green Park where you can have quite a variety of food. They also have a pool and would be welcome on hot days.
The building we stayed in was a bit older I think but with good furnishings and the bathroom was quite stocked with brush, shaving kit etc. Hot water was available in the morning.
Had a nice rest and took a drive around the city, though it started to rain in the evening. A nice place to break...
