Lounge 29 (Bar & Kitchen) — Restaurant in Karnataka

This was an experience I encountered 6 months ago. The glasses weren’t washed properly. After the beer was poured into our glasses, we noticed food particles on the beer mugs. We brought it to the notice of the waiter who had just poured the beer. After looking at the glass from various angles, he offered to serve the same beer in a different glass(disgusting). We insisted on being served a fresh mug of beer to which the waiter agreed after some considerable brouhaha. In 5 mins the waiter returned with another mug of beer saying this was a fresh one from a different bottle. When I asked for proof that it wasn’t the same beer, he argued that it was some government rule that they aren’t supposed to show it to the customers which is just absurd. I still was adamant on my stance and insisted that I won’t have it unless he either shows me the previous mug of beer or the bottle from which it was poured. When we reached the bar counter the waiter was all fumbling and trembling. And when I asked the bartender about it , he agreed to the fact that the beer was poured from the previous glass. The sheer arrogance of the manager too had me flabbergasted. After asking them to cancel all our orders the manager asked us to continue and that he’d offer us two beers for the price of one(wasn’t necessary). Since I was meeting a friend for one last time before she left to her hometown, we decided on continuing our lunch. A horrendous experience which I am taking time to pen down. Time 1300h...we were 2 families with kids. Decided to have a mug of beer and snacks with some light lunch. Checked on Google and reached Lounge 29. Securityand Google said it's open 1130h onwards. Waiter inside said closed till 1400h. The manager came politely and said...please come in we are open ...we will serve you. The beer was ordered and snacks as well...starter specifically for kids to make sure they eat something. The beer came in a jiffy. The waiter then surprised us by saying food not available..will take 20- 30 mins.Cook not there...last night DJ party was there etc etc. It was 1345h and we still didn't have a snacks on the table with 1 mug each down. Basic Roasted papad and masala peanut came at 1350h.( 48mins since we sat). The manager kept saying we will do it...we will serve ..but the point was kids can't be kept hungry beyond a point. Little insensitive...rather highly insensitive in that department. Roti phulka was ordered..waiter said can't do it....manager said ..I will get it done All in all the ordeal was worth forgetting and letting go. We finished the snacks and were out by 1420h after a hefty bill of Rs1770. GST /Service tax and INCONVENIENCE included. Promised myself never to Lounge...

we had the worst experience ever in life, they don't care about any customer. they literary harrassed our friends in different language thinking we wouldn't understand. don't ever visit this place by mistake also. even the servers are harrassed by their superiors. They told us offers will be available and when asked, they told, we have no tie ups with swiggy Zomato nothing. you have to pay the bill or they threatened us that they will lock the place up with us inside and go. it was almost 1 AM by the time we could leave the restaurant.I literally feel sorry for the staff working there. ambience is good but AC was literally off, every customer was sweating and using tissues to wipe their face, they even save electricity in this way. food was decent tho but if you wish to eat in hell you can go here.💀💀 I'm just telling what happened with us, obviously they might deny everything and block this review, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. So who ever faced these issues please report ASAP for your consumer...
