JFZ Homestay in Honnavar is a delightful retreat that offers warm hospitality and a home-like atmosphere. Although the peak season meant the place was quite overcrowded, Jimmy Frazer and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We did encounter a minor hiccup with the cleanliness of our room during check-in, but it was promptly addressed by Jimmy and his team. Their quick response and genuine care for our comfort truly stood out. Throughout our stay, Jimmy and his family were incredibly attentive, offering personalized recommendations, helping us navigate the bustling season, and making us feel at home despite the initial challenges.

The property itself is charming, with cozy rooms and a tranquil ambiance that makes it a perfect base for exploring Honnavar. The personal touch and dedication of the Frazer family make this homestay a standout choice.

We recently visited this place with Family and Friends. First of all rooms were very small, bed provided does not suit for a family with a Kid. Since its very close to sharavathi backwaters place is not clean and tidy, adding to it mosquitos. We met Jimmy who was the care taker there, was very humble and guided us very well. This is the only best part of this home stay. The worst part was the Old lady (not sure whether she is owner of the property) behaved very rudely during our checkout. Time for checkout was 11, but this lady started acting in a rude way at 10AM itself. Infact, geysers were turned off and had to take bath in cold water. Also this lady visited one of our friends room without permission, just to check whether we were checking out or not. Do not go by 5* paid reviews, this is our honest opinion. Hospitality really needs to be improved a lot.

We and Office mates had a wonderful stay at JZF Homestay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The location was convenient and peaceful, with all the essentials provided. A special thank you to the property owner, Mr .Jimmy who was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and arranged for boating which was a memorable ride and also informed sightseeing location , Even arranged a rented bike for local ride Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience!.
