Avoid Koshy College if You Value Your Freedom and Education
Attending Koshy College has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I strongly advise prospective students to look elsewhere if they value their freedom and quality education.
Firstly, the gate policy is absurd. The college gates close at 9 AM sharp, and if you're not inside by then, tough luck. You won't be allowed in, no matter the reason. This draconian rule feels more like a prison than a place of learning. Emergencies, late classes, or personal commitments are not taken into account. Being an adult and still being treated like a high schooler with a curfew is demeaning and impractical.
Secondly, the faculty leaves much to be desired. The teachers are generally not good at all. Many lack the necessary expertise and passion for their subjects. Their teaching methods are outdated, and they often fail to engage or inspire students. It's disheartening to sit through lectures that feel more like a formality than a genuine effort to educate.
To make matters worse, the presence of bouncers on campus is both unnecessary and intimidating. These bouncers are supposedly there to maintain discipline, but they are excessively rude and aggressive towards students. Their behavior creates a hostile environment, adding to the overall stress and dissatisfaction.
Students are not allowed to visit the canteen during interval times. This policy is incredibly restrictive and disregards the basic needs of students. Denying access to the canteen during breaks is not only unfair but also impractical. It feels like the college administration is more focused on controlling students than supporting their well-being.
For my fellow Malayali students i am also a mallu guy, don't be fooled by the low fee structure. The cheap fees might seem attractive, but the reality is that you get what you pay for â and at Koshy College, thatâs not much. The overall experience is so poor that the lower cost isnât worth the many drawbacks.
Moreover, donât fall for the 100% placement assurance. Itâs nothing more than a marketing gimmick. The college fails to provide the necessary support and opportunities to secure decent placements, leaving many graduates struggling...
Read moreI am Bovaz Jullet, a recent graduate of BBA Aviation Management from Koshys Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore.
Looking back on my journey at Koshys, I can proudly say that these past three years have been some of the most enriching and transformative years of my life. The experience was not just about academics â it was a perfect blend of learning, growth, and self-discovery.
The faculty members were incredibly supportive and always encouraged a practical, hands-on approach to education. The friendly and welcoming campus environment made Koshys feel like more than just a college â it truly became a second home.
Some of the most memorable moments were our industrial visits, especially to Sensera Engineering and Jumpking International. These visits helped us gain real-world insights into aviation and business practices, and understand how theory is applied in professional environments. They also opened our minds to the importance of innovation, adaptability, and strategic thinking in global industries.
Beyond academics, Koshys provided countless opportunities to grow through workshops, events, and leadership activities, which helped us build confidence and unlock our full potential.
Iâm incredibly grateful for all the mentors, friends, and experiences that have shaped me during my time here. Graduating from Koshys Institute of Management Studies has been one of the best decisions Iâve ever made, and I will always carry these...
