Mahaveer Ventures Hotel and Resort - The Padival Grand — Hotel in Karnataka

My experience right from booking to check out was absolutely professional and smooth my one point contact Kusumadhara. Kudos to the staff consisting of Kusumadhara, Dharamraj and Madhushree who manage this hotel so well and all demands from guests are attended to promptly with a smile. Hotel is centrally located on the main road and view of an arecanut plantation. We had booked 3 rooms for two nights. It is total value for money hotel and the only one I have come across where the minibar items are complimentary, the wifi details neatly pasted permanently near the tv. The rooms are sparkling clean, centrally airconditioned with generator backup but the washroom though neat can do with better floor tiles and buckets, new towels etc. The meals are served in the Palara Pure Veg restaurant situated in the basement.The breakfast menu is fixed and preplated but absolutely fresh and tasty. The South Indian mini thaali is simply delicious and so are the other punjabi cuisine options. My one suggestion is since all rooms are situated on 2nd floor a restaurant on the same floor will be very convenient for the senior citizen and all other guests. But I must thank Kusumadhara, Madhushree and Dharamraj for giving room service to my Senior Citizen parents making their stay very comfortable. The elevators from the parking basement to the 2nd floor makes it convenient too for Senior Citizens. Overall, this is the best Hotel in Puttur town...

I do not even want to rate them 1 star also. My baby’s naming ceremony was held in this hall. They charged us 17,500 but they made us to pay 20k in advance incase of breaking their rules. And they ensured to give 2,500 if we did not break any of their rules. We actually booked the hall for the lift facility and a/c hall but they failed to give us both of them. Lift was not working whole day and they switched on a/c once we entered the hall. It took almost an hour to cool. They mentioned 4 hours of time but the first 1 hour it was not cool only. My grandma who had leg pain couldn’t walk by stairs but attended the function because of lift but unfortunately it was not working. It was very inconvenient.There was no responsible person to enquire our needs also. In the beginning they asked us to pay 20k, which was more than their hall charge. Now can they pay us back more than what they assured for the inconvenience...

Great Stay – Value for Money!

Stayed here recently and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Though the pricing is standard (₹1800-₹2500), it definitely offers great value for money. The hotel has ample parking space, which is a big plus, and it seems to attract a decent, well-behaved crowd.

What stood out the most was the fact that the entire property, including rooms, has centralized AC — something you don’t usually expect in this price range. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a smart TV and even a fridge, which added to the comfort.

We were also surprised with some thoughtful complimentary touches — snacks in the room and a tasty breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was light, delicious, and didn’t feel heavy at all.
