Mia Madre — Hotel in Karnataka

It's a touch of luxury experience for me. We went as a family of 6 and had the whole weekend to ourselves. This property has extremely gorgeous views especially the rooms. The place is like a dreamhouse and if you anywhere like me it has got you covered for your Instagram posts ;). We booked all 3 rooms. Its soo beautiful and everything in the house is very well thought of making the guests stay relaxing and comfortable. The villa has got a pool in which we all had a great time in this pleasant weather under the stars. The property is close to the market which is about 5 mins drive . The rooms have got clear views of Nandi hills and when u wake up in the morning the mountains covered in clouds seems magical. Vast breakfast spread available. It had al the things one would think of. The plus point for us for this property is very close to all the activities like horse riding , trekking Nandi hills , kayaking , jungle cart which both children and adults can enjoy. I have travelled to so many countries but this was one of my best stays as my family had the most amazing time . Thanks to the host they were quite helpful in attending to all our needs and they had good knowledge...

Our family of 9 members stayed at this property. Though the villa is good and well maintained, the following things have taken sheen out of our stay; a) Caretaker is only available till 4 pm and from 9 am. Caretaker was not friendly and her focus was only on switching off light. b) There is no seperate villa named Mia Madre. It's a property inside gated property named Belmonte which again is not well maintained and there is nothing to do inside the gated property. c) Jacuzzi does not have hot water and you can not replace water after one day due to water conversation excuse ( Not informed at time of booking).Its a non smoking villa ( again not informed at time of booking) d) Geysers will have no hot water if there is no electricity ( Not informed at time of booking) e) Mattress in room in terrace was not good and it was combination of 3 small mattress. f) They ordered breakfast from outside which was good. However, they didn't provide butter for bread.

Considering the amount they are charging, it's not good...

Mia Madre is one of a kind. The entire home is beautiful beyond words. It's evident that they've taken a lot of care in building this home, setting it up intricately and maintaining it regularly. It's an absolute delight to stay here. The view of course is the cherry on top - a fantastic terrace (with a Jacuzzi!) where the entire family / group can hang out together, with an unbeatable view of Nandi Hills. The host is also very kind and helpful - she not only shared recommendations for all queries, but even helped us with dinner arrangements when we needed help.
