OYO 40046 Kmn Resort — Hotel in Karnataka

One of the worst resorts I have ever seen. I will not give even 1 star for this resort. We (5 families) went there in the midnight of 20/10/15 and checked-out in the morning. The rooms were very badly maintained. The bucket and jug, the sanitary fittings and the floor in the bathroom were extremely dirty and were stinking. The doors and windows had no proper locks. Anyone need to enter your room, can just bang the door and come in because the inner locks are broken. Most of the rooms have direct power connection, which means you can switch everything ON without even inserting the key in the socket. Our 3 rooms were of that sort and the staff falsely claimed that the keys were given when we checked-in, when they had just opened the rooms and took back the keys. When we explained during check-out that the keys were not given, the whole staff abused us and threatened. Because we were families, we helplessly paid them Rs.2,000/- as penalty for the keys, which we had never even seen. We didn't even got a receipt for it. They didn't even give us a receipt for the room rent we paid. The staff told us that they don't give receipts or bills. Think 100 times before even entering this resort, whatever is your requirement. Very bad experience,no basic amenities, seems like they are running it without license and named as resort, 1night stay for our family was horrible, no water, no power, no proper locks for rooms,water entering inside rooms when raining, bathroom very dirty .Very rude behavior to ladies by the people who runs the lodge. Overcharged without providing any basic amenities and when asked to reduce the rent for not providing basic amenities , they are acting and speaking like gundas to ladies who raised their concerns faced in their bldg. Also these gundas are not giving invoice after collecting huge rent. Request no to enter into trap by staying in this horrible KMN resort which is similar to disaster...

This property is located very near to bandipur national park. So if you want to visit the park early you can choose this. It's easily visible from main road even at night. Rooms are spacious and have ample wardrobes and dressing tables. The bathrooms are not that clean and you just have to manage. Food is average and you have to give specific instructions as what is required. Staff is not that well versed with hospitality and not much should be expected from them .
