Q Mango Forest — Hotel in Karnataka

This place is a scam! its no way a resort but a cheap picnic place for a day tour for bachelors to do hooliganism entire day! In one day there are minimum 200 people at this place making it crowded, noisy and dirty. the Pool is unclean and atleast 50 people at one go init. Seen a few of them spititng in the pool and even cleaning noses in the pool water, crowd visiting is unclean and for 1500 bucks for a day with lunch you can imagine at the crowd visiting. Shouting and running around everyday , NOT A Peaceful place at all , dont go by their professionals clicks photos.

Reception: There is No reception but a hut for reception, staff is untrained and dont know anything about hospitality. No uniforms so you wont know who is staff and who is a visitor. NO id cards are asked so they dont care who is visiting. Secondly their UPIs are not by resort name but other peoples names so obviosly they are scamming the govertment as well by hiding income.

Food: Lunch is at one place , there is no arrangement based on number of guests who are staying you wait their in sun to wait to get tables empty i the heat. There are no fans and seating arrangement or a waiting area making it unbearable to eat there, after a while they put a table for us to eat. Food was avergae notjing to boast.

Parking: Parking is a ground in sun, no shades there and its away from the entrance you carry the luggage till the gate.

Pool: The most unhygienic place , Men swimming in baniyan and underwear spitting around. Not sure how often they clean the pool, atleast 50 people at one time! No attendants there to look at who is entering the pool and how. Didnt even bother to go close to avoid infections.

Cheap stay: The rooms are ok and not as clean as you would expect when you pay so much. It was like a 1star hotel. The AC is a joke, it DOESNOT cool down the rooms since the roofs are tins or synthetic material which heat up during the day.

Wifi: No wifi was working and very minimal range, TV does not work since wifi doesnt.

Game areas are poorly maintained and nothign to look forward to.

Around 50km from the south of Bengaluru, this resort is located next to a lake amidst the rocky formations. Plenty of parking space, unsheltered for 4 wheelers. For 2wheelers ,parking is less.

Adventure activities 00 (Rappling )01 time only - nice small activity. Must try once 01) Zipline (One time only)- very small in length, and inconvenient landing, we skipped this 02) Kayaking ( Per person 10 minutes one time only)- if you go early and no one's waiting, you get a bit leeway

3. Swimming natural lake (30 minutes)- you have to swim with lifevests on and the lake bed is full of plants.

4. Trekking (morning 7 to 9)- a small hillock visible beyond the lake. You get the same view that you get when you go for rappling

(Activities opening time. 10am closing time 5pm)

5. Outdoor games- we played volleyball , cricket. Ball kept going to the adjacent plot or the lake behind, too many hitters in our team.

6. Archery- fun must try activity here.

7. Human foosball-had an absolute blast playing this game. Almost 16 of us packed in that small box, great fun

8. Rain dance time :- ( 4 to 4:45pm 45 minutes)- small area , good fun,usic not that impressive Mud activities- missed playing this, but look fun

Buffet Food- Food was acceptable, some were good, some not that great, Some of my favourites - puri with chana masala, chilli chicken, chicken biryani, fried gobi, matar paneer with tandoor roti,idli sambhar, Dislikes - chicken curry, bhindi fry,

1. Dinner:- (9 to 10:30pm)
2. Breakfast:-( 9 to 10:30am)
3. Hi-ti (Tea coffee snacks):- (5:30 to 6:00pm)
4. Common bornfire and music ( 7 to 9:00)

You can order starters and get your drinks/water/soda till 10:30pm in the night. Lot's of space for making private seating arrangements if you don't want to sit at the common bonfire. They were constructing the swimming pool and more rooms We stayed in tents. The tents were of good quality but felt hot inside for some time Bathrooms are ok, couldn't spot any changing room. They have locker facility with a security dep of ₹100 in the food area

Overall if you are a group of 10-20ppl , this is a perfect place for you. However for individuals,you will mostly have to take part in paid activities like zorb ball and rocket launcher (₹80). Free activities would be...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — If I could give negative stars, I would have to invent a black hole.

Let me walk you through the fever dream that was my stay at Q Mang Resort — a place where customer service goes to die, dreams are suffocated in moldy linens, and relaxation is held hostage by incompetence.

🏚️ THE ROOMS: They say it’s “rustic.” I say it’s “rotting.” The mattress felt like a collapsed lung. The walls were thinner than my patience, and I’m 90% sure the “jacuzzi” was just a bucket with delusions of grandeur. One towel. Stained. Smelled like wet regrets.

🦟 THE ENVIRONMENT: If you like sharing your bed with mosquitoes, geckos, and the occasional rat who believes in open borders, this place is wildlife-friendly. I woke up to a lizard duel above my headboard. National Geographic would weep.

🍽️ THE FOOD: They promised a “continental spread.” I got mystery mush that tasted like despair with a side of food poisoning. The coffee? A war crime in a cup. I’ve had better beverages from a hospital IV drip.

🧑‍💼 THE STAFF: Imagine being ignored so thoroughly that you begin to question your own existence. The reception staff had all the enthusiasm of a sleep-deprived sloth. One guy at the front desk responded to my concern with, “What do you want me to do about it?” ICONIC.

🏊‍♀️ THE POOL: Green. Murky. Sentient? I swear it tried to grab me. I think I saw a lost flip-flop from 2004 floating in there, along with my last shred of hope.

🕳️ THE EXPERIENCE: It’s the kind of place where you check out of your room, your soul, and possibly this dimension. I came for peace. I left with a tetanus shot and unresolved trauma.

Verdict: Q Mang Resort is not a getaway. It’s a warning. A cursed landmark. A fever-dream purgatory where happiness goes to take a long nap.
