RAINBOW COMFORTS (LODGE) — Hotel in Karnataka

Booking & Price I booked a single room here for one night before starting my solo trip. The charge was ₹800. However, I felt the price did not match the value, as the room was quite small, especially the washroom, which was very cramped and uncomfortable.

Room & Cleanliness Cleanliness was average. The bed was not comfortable as it bounced too much, and the bedsheet felt rough. Overall, the room setup could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

Interaction & Service When I asked for a small discount of ₹100 considering the room size, the owner insisted on ₹800 since it was a weekend. I understand the point, but the response could have been more polite. Professionalism felt lacking, as the focus seemed to be mainly on money collection. Even for basic requests like water, I was told it is usually provided only for AC rooms, which did not feel very welcoming. Providing essentials like water, soap, and towel should be standard for any guest.

Positives

The surrounding area was fairly clean. Parking space was available for bikes and 1–2 cars (though at one’s own risk, as CCTV covers only certain areas). The lodge is located next to the main road, so access to restaurants and shops is convenient if you have a bike, though it’s not exactly in the main city.

Overall Experience For me, it was a below-average experience. I personally feel the room I stayed in was worth ₹400–₹500 at most per night. I would not recommend this lodge for solo travellers unless no other option is available, in which case it can be considered as a last resort.

Suggestion to Management I also noticed some rude replies from the owner on other negative reviews. I would kindly suggest maintaining professionalism and politeness when dealing with customers—this will not only improve guest experience but also help the business grow positively.

Hi, I forgot my phone at Rainbow Comforts and checked out. Sumanth, Manager and Owner, was very helpful, Kind and caring person. Not only he ensured to talk and conveyed about having a phone in his custody,despite not picking his phone for 3 to 4 times, since I was on bike- I didn't received his call, but ensured the phone has been delivered to me in time. He couried my phone to my location. Millions of thanks and blessings to you Sumith and his staff. Very rare to see this kind of gusture, care and empathy towards the guest or customer. He was very kind to help me with luggage as I was traveling on bike and difficult to carry the things along. My stay was excellent, he promptly shared few eating places as soon as I checked in, he saw me hungry. Rooms were clean and neat. Bedsheets washed and clean. Very reasonable pricing. All eaternaries and marketing places nearby.

In this review I gave one star but to the most it doesn't even deserve 0.25 . It is by far the worst and utterly most disgusting thing I ever even seen or went to. The owner is literally just so horrible and rude aswell as arrogant . I would never want to go to or even near this. The whole place itself is trash. The name is rainbow comforts but it's not suitable for the way how it is , there is no comfort and seriously so much attitude . One of my friends and I went together. We did not like it and she put a review and he wantedly wrote a horrible review back even thought whatever we said was true . So since he was treating us arrogantly even I will say that this (rainbow hell) lodge is the worst . And yes I misspelt it wantedly as it doesn't even deserve my time to get a spelling correction.
