OYO 30493 Plaamirth Inn — Hotel in Karur

No positives at all. I asked for a double bed room and specifically told them not two single beds. They gave 2 single beds. The guy at reception blatantly said I made no such ask. We had to stay with a baby and when we mentioned this, they gave an extra bed at additional cost (which wasn't in the receipt).||||We were told it was a deluxe room and charged accordingly. The paint on the roof has peeled off, the corridor and reception reeks of cigarette smoke, they gave only one water bottle for a family of 3, in Deluxe room. No hot water either in the morning or at night (solar heater so when it rains, you suffer). ||||Could not turn of air conditioning, their "gym" is just a treadmill (I didn't even try). ||||Very callous attitude and riding on people's desperation. A very unsafe hotel and most unhygienic food. Had checked in a suite room to get the best services, but torn and used bedsheets greeted me to start my day. The room provides a electric kettle but they provide an innovative excuse of not providing any coffee/ tea supplies - guests don't like them. I wished that they sweep and mop the floors without insisting as guests do deserve the minimum cleanliness. Even in a suite room ,you would be provided a single towel as this is a rule . The breakfast is served at the restaurant and it looked as if the food was leftover from previous night waiting to be distributed to beggars. have never seen such a filthy place in my whole life. You would not be surprised if things go missing from your room - thats an added bonus. I generally stay at Residency which is far far better hotel. This time I did not book it in advance, and had to rush...

NEVER TRUST OYO OR THIS HOTEL

Its #OYO 30494. After confirmed bookings for 24 people including 3 senior citizens who travlled from Mumbai I.e 1300 kms were not given rooms at 2am because they gave the rooms to some other group who, from whome they charged more than what we agreed on oyo rooms.

The receptionist said we did not like the tariff what oyo was paying us so he cancelled the booking without informing us even after knowing it was big group reaching late at night.

The receptionist acted like he did not understand hindi or English...complete scam. NEVER TRUST OYO...
