Welcomed 2020 amidst nature , with scrumptious food and amazing people ! Stayed at Camellia for New Year’s Eve 2020 and we had a wonderful family getaway! Right from the time of booking , till planning our itenary , Mr Sajan was very helpful ! He was ever ready to help us and provided us with good suggestions ! One of the finest hosts I have met till date ! It was love at first sight with Camellia , the wonderful location, the beautiful villa , with its unique interiors was just mesmerising ! The villa was spotless and maintained very well ! Every corner of the house had a story to tell and the detailing was near perfect ! Caretaker Krishna was always happy to help us , he did a great job by keeping the place so clean ! Another added advantage of the villa is its delicious , mouth watering food ! Never ever hav I tasted such lovely chicken steak , fish curry ! Mr Pathros the chef was always pampering us with more food ! This place is a blend of nature, scenic beauty & hospitality. This is my vacation after a long 2.5 yrs and wanted to get away from all the hustle, bustle and go to a quiet, calm place. I was bit skeptical and after arriving, all my doubts went away with the kind gesture of Mr. Sajjan and Patrose who is taking care of this place. They will make you feel home and ensure safety. Food Mr. Patrose prepares is just amazing, they have well equipped kitchen offering good options. Separate kitchens for veg and non veg. Coming to the property, it is quite reachable from the city and nearby attractions, didn't feel we were distant. It has a beautiful estate, flowers, birds chirping all the time, and a mind-blowing view of the chembra peak hill from the terrace . This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. This beautiful villa place is owned by Dharmraj and Prema which is covered by beautiful greenery all around.||I visited with my family this homestay. Without doubt one of the favorite homestays I stayed during my time in Waynad. Upon arrival,we were warmly welcomed by the host. We had two great evenings here. Sajan was our host during our stay and he is an amazing person & very down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need. The service, ambeince, food and hospitality can't be found in 5 star hotel.||||Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me especially authentic home made Kerala food from pruthos(the cook in Camillia).
