The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the town. Parking is a bit problem, but the staff will take care of this. The checkin process was completed in less than 10 minutes. A very good quality elevator takes you to the floor. The room is having a traditional key and lock mechanism. The first impression of the room is neat and clean. There are hangers, kettles, bedside table and a study table. There a cable television for entertainment also.||Our package include breakfast also. As informed, the breakfast will be server from 7:30, we reached by 7:45 but the breakfast was not ready. Since we had a busy schedule, the restaurebt manager helped us to arrange some food. The taste is average, but the quality is good.||Some recommendations to the hotel are:|- The dental kit was missing in the toilet|- Kindly arrange the iorning table and iorn box to each room|- An LED desk light to the study table is highly recommended|- The kettle was not clean|- The hair drier was not working|- Kindly provide a bill at the time of checkout.||What I like the most:|- I haven't used but there is a WiFi provided by the hotel|- The quick response from the staff; this is a very very good point in the service industry|- Clean atmosphere||The hotel is highly recommended to families who are looking for budget hotel with above average facilities. Make sure that you have options to travel...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for a night. a good 3* hotel to stay Reception - customer service is good; 4/5. If you are an overseas traveller and using an overseas bank card, please note the hotel doesn't accept overseas bank/credit cards. If you don't have a local bank card, the payment must be made in cash. As I am an overseas traveller in Kerala, I had to answer many questions raised by the hotel reception. Apparently, the hotels had to provide foreign guest information to the local police in Kerala. However, after this hotel, the following day, I stayed in another hotel in Kochin, Kerala where I didn't have to give any additional information other than my passport details and my contact number (similar to all the hotels that I have stayed in Tamilnadu). Restaurant - Good food, both veg & non-veg options, 5/5 Room - A reasonable size room with good lighting and air condition facility 5/5 Bathroom/toilet - Okay, 3/5 I have highlighted at the reception the toiler pipe was broken and a bathroom had a slight odder Customer service - 5/5 The hotel has fixed the issues that I raised while I was...
Read moreWhen in Trissur, I don’t think it be difficult to find good restaurants. Food is amazing in this town, there are so many varieties of snacks also that you get to try.
After a long tiring meeting, we were taken to NIYA residency. The frontage of the hotel itself gave me a good feel.
Well decent interiors, pleasant seating, we had decided that fish meals is something that we would try. Others looked at chapati, veg curry and chicken curry. The meals were superb, with white rice and good tasty side dishes. The fish curry was amazing, along with a fish fry, deep fried it was and tasted homely. At the end the payasam was too good that I ordered it 2 more times. And still it was not enough for me.
The guys also enjoyed the chapati, veg curry and chicken curry, I could see them order more chapatis than that they normally have.
I am sure this was an enjoyment, and I am sure it would be for you too. Don’t forget the place, NIYA Residency. Some days they have more varieties of payasam also, later I got to know this restaurant was known for its payasam and meals.
If in Trissur, don’t miss...
