I am really happy with my stay here, almost 100% satisfied. This place is just beautiful. The biggest highlight is that it’s very isolated and calm — if you want to slow down, get away from stress and busy city life, this is the spot to just sit back and rejuvenate.
The homely service from the owner, Shah, really stood out for me. He is very welcoming, makes you feel at home, and the food served here is simple but very tasty. Also, in our talks I got to know a lot of local information about Kannur and Theyyam traditions. It really felt more than just a stay, almost like connecting with the local culture.
I honestly feel I will come back here again, especially to watch a Theyyam performance — something I couldn’t do this time but surely will in the future.
One small note: if you are expecting a resort-style luxury setup, this is not that. But if you are looking for something affordable, nature-friendly, very clean, hygienic, and peaceful with the beach nearby for morning or evening walks, then this place is perfect.
Overall, I totally enjoyed my time here and will recommend...

Cheaper than most of the other places in Kannur specially at walkable distance from beach. Thottada beach close to this beach is very clean and less crowded. We did not find more than 10 ppl on the beach during sunset. Amazing hospitality. Mr Ali or Ms Deepa never said No to our frequent requests. Always available at the property Food is delicious. We had planned earlier to have only breakfast and dinner here but we had all our meals here during our stay. Less than 20 min drive from Drivein beach and St. Angelo Fort. Very clean room and decently clean washroom.
One thing i want to mention is: Last 200 mt drive to this place is a bit tricky. Lots of turns and narrlw road. Make sure you are reading the map properly.
Very pleasant stay...
Read moreIt's a secluded place but gives a view of a coconut farm and a mangroves in the back water and is 1km away from the beach which is very convenient (thottada beach is a small ideal beach for the beach lovers) less crowded. MR. Sha the host is a GEM who is of a great help only if you ask. He took us to the fish market by the side of port asked us to buy the fish of our choice on our second day stay. He got the fish cooked for us along with the sea shell, food was really really good - expect home healthy food and not some fancy menu, basic menu but a healthy one with 100% satisfaction. We had almost all meals here itself during our 2 day stay. My 2 year old daughter just enjoyed this place more then us including the food. A 5 for everything except the 300mts muddy root just before the stay. Thank...
