Koviloor Palace — Hotel in Kerala

We stayed in the cottage with the three bedrooms. It's very nice and good. Nice view from there. The staff's behaviour is good and supportive. The cottage is on the top side . So they will provide Jeep for reach there. Just 100 meters distance from the bottom. But it's hard to climb for normal people. They are also providing one hide out place outside the cottage for chill out. I am sharing the photos and videos. Please refer. They are accepting cash and gpay. Currently not accepting cards. Overall a nice experience with them. Please book the rooms in vattavada before you start your trip. Else maybe the check post guards will not be allowed to enter into vattavada after noon time . And also order food early or buy from the top station. It's a remote area. Restaurants and shops...

It's a nice place. They are located exactly above Vattavada Grama Panchayat Office, opposite to the valley surrounded by mountains. The road to the place is very steep. Unless you have a 4x4 drive and good tyres it will be next to dangerous to take your vehicle above. They'll arrange pick up and drop if you request. The cook was on leave and we did it ourselves and it was quite a good experience. Every equipments are available in Kitchen. Feel like home place. Petty shops were there to buy Chicken, Bread, Oil, Vegetables etc. But you have to take with you sauces and all, if you plan for high-end cooking. There is a seperate place for campfire and barbecue. Had a 2 day stay with family at this 3bedroom villa. Situated near vattavada hospital & panchayat office. We had to trek a 100 meter steep concrete road and then a 30 flight steps to reach the house. Jeep was arranged by caretaker for the steep road. On reaching the house, it was very well maintained. The view is magical, overseeing the vattavada village. There is a kitchen, common place and veranda. The rooms are attached with hot water. Also there is private fire area, barbeque place & party area. The food was good & homely. The stay is ideal for family and friend's group equally. The caretaker, Prappu, requires special mention for his good service. Would be going back to this...
