First of all, I am just sharing my experience here about a night stay at Marai Edens..
This is Really a Gem of Place. We ,Couple Visited this place on 1st Week of Dec 19 ! I was been into Alleppey many tines.. Previously I made a mistake by booking hotels in Alleppey beaches side.. But the issue here is so much crowd, No Privacy & Beaches was some what bad..
But this time I unknowing searched in Google & luckily find this place.. I was not sure till I went there.. But they stay was Amazing..
This is a simple Resort with Mind blowing hidden things around.. Thanks to Jiddhu and his Mother was the Hosting us Wonderfully..
This Spot is just 50 Meters away from beach.. This where the difference lies.. As it's sided with wonderful white sand beach, pleasant trees atmosphere & few fisherman houses...
I Visited Alleppey, Kollam beaches previously.. No Privacy will be there.. .
But here it's totally different as No Crowd will be there, Not Even a Single Plastic or bad thing on the beach.. And there is a very good privacy...
No Official Staff will be there as this small Resort has very good 3 or 4 Rooms.. But you will be a very good service as jiddhu takes care of all this things 24*7 ! We got served with Local Puttu, Dosas Along With Fish Curry, Fish Fries and Some Veggies.. They were simple and delicious.. And thanks for Middle for arranging Duo bike as we started to some nearbuy small beaches & Arthangal..
Lovely place with Privacy, Customized Service, A Beach Walk.. Will Makes yours...
Read moreMarari Edens is an immaculately clean and recently renovated homestay in the midst of friendly, unintruding neighbourhood by the side of a secure, mostly secluded and almost private beach. The sea is calm most of the time and is conducive to swimming.
The homestay is easily accessible, just 5 minutes drive off the arterial NH 66 between Cochin and Alleppey. It is located adjacent to the more famous Carnoustie Ayurveda and Wellness Resort.
The beach opposite the homestay is just a few steps away. There are many more beaches in the vicinity within walking distance. The sound of the waves and the chirping of the birds keep company as you unwind on an easy-chair in the veranda or on a hammock, enjoying the gentle sea breeze. However, direct view of the ocean from the homestay is obstructed by a house in between.
With only 5 rooms, of which 3 are air conditioned, the homestay is quiet and uncrowded. Greenery abounds all around. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are modern and there is a common dining area. Personal service of the family who manages the homestay makes one feel at home.
I find Marari Edens an invitingly warm and cosy homestay by the beach. As I prepare to leave after 2 nights of stay, I have the satisfaction that I derived value for money, since I accepted Marari Edens as a homestay and...
Read moreThis lovely beach front (sort of ) property is a mixed bag of good and not so good things. The Good: 2 out of the 5 rooms are large and spacious. It's a mix of A/C and non A/C rooms. Pretty happy with the rooms especially the A/C ones. Wardrobe provided. There are recliner chairs in the veranda to chill. The dining area is a separate roofed back garden shed which is lovely when the weather is nice. There's vehicular access from the back yard and there's space of 1 car inside the gate. Linens are provided. Although the front yard is narrow, there's plenty of shade. There's a hammock as well. Host: was pleasant and available locally. The Bad: One thing that was unpleasant was the poorly maintained bathroom in one of the rooms. The door handle was loose and it came off the door. The toilet seat could do with replacement. The plug points in one of the rooms was an extension board which was hanging off the wall which wasn't working. Acces to the property is via a small section of unpaved road with poor side clearance for wider vehicles. Although Privacy is not the best as Overall this a nice choice for people who just wants a place to say rather a place to enjoy. Rooms are comfortable...
