Munroe Vision Panakkattu Homestay — Hotel in Kerala

We must say that it was an excellent stay together with family at the homestay. Mr Premchand was our host, who made the trip memorable with his kind presence and hospitality. He and his family are great hosts. Timely and homely food 🥝 is his moto. In fact my family especially the kid liked the stay very much because of the great Indian food and calm felt at the place.

There are lot of sight seeing spots in the area, a little discussion with Mr Premchand will give you a plenty ideas 💡 to explore new whereabouts.

All the locations worth seeing are either cycle-able or walkable. Best time to visit should be just after the monsoon, ie mid August to September onwards till March. When we went it was too hot 🔥 outside. During the peak summer of the Indian peninsula, April May.

Thankfully the rooms were well adjusted in accordance with the weather and plenty of water to drink was provided.

The boat ride in the Asthamudi lake still lives fresh in our memory. He booked the beautiful ride for our family.

We stayed 2 nights at the Munroe Vision Panakkattu Homestay. We had a great stay with Premchand and Beena, they were very friendly and helpful. They can help you organize your trip on the island. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (excluded) at the homestay, which was very tasty. Had the best curry during our trip in India so far in the homestay. The room is as on the pictures, basic but it serves its purpose. Having an AC in the room was a big plus for us. I would 10/10 recommend this homestay if you're visiting...

Premchand and his lovely wife were great hosts, happy always smiling, made you feel at home. he was also very helpful in organising the boat trips and anything else that was needed. The room was spotlessly clean, the a/c was fantastic, the terrace was a great place to relax it was so peaceful just listening to the birds, paradise!!!
