Puzhamoola Farm Villas — Hotel in Kerala

Beautiful place, amazing location, very friendly host.

Four of us were travelling to Wayanad (two couples). We initially decided to take one two bedroom villa (as per details in the site) and we booked the same. But when we reached there, the villa had two bedrooms, but only one bathroom. We immediately spoke with the owner (Mr. Mohanan) and the host (Mr. Sarafuddhin). They are very nice people and they helped us with one more villa. They have three villas there. All are small, but cute and comfortable. There are two bedrooms. One room has a double cot, a dressing table, dress stand, TV, two chairs and a huge bathroom. The other room has only a double cot. In my opinion, one villa is perfect for a family or if you are a group of guys or girls. But we did not have any issues as we got two villas. The best part - standing out of the villa, you will get a great view of the Chembra peak (the peak is right opposite to this location).

The host was so friendly and helpful. Our package included breakfast. We stayed there for two nights and they always made sure that we were happy and comfortable. When we enquired about food, they asked us what we wanted ;). I must say, the host Mr. Sarafuddhin is a great cook. He made us dinner both days and I must say, DELICIOUS!

The owner lives right opposite to these villas and the host lives nearby. There are no issues with water or electricity as they have power backup.

The only problem you may face is the approach road. It is not maintained well. But nothing can be done about that because the road is managed by local municipal authority. :(.

Our family vacation trip to Puzhamoola Farm Resort in Wayanad was a disappointment. We stayed in a 2BH cottage, but one room was very cramped, and the fan wasn't working in the other. The bathroom cleanliness was subpar. All rooms were non-AC, and the beds were smaller than queen-size.

The WiFi and power supply were inconsistent, and we had to frequently request the staff to switch on the generator. The pool, although scenic and located on top with a view, required climbing several steps.

Given the 'farm' in its name, we expected more, but there wasn't much farm-related activity. The food was average, and the service staff's attitude was unfriendly.

We were also disappointed by the lack of amenities like campfire spots and music systems. Overall, our experience was below expectations, and we wouldn't recommend this resort for a...
