Café Umbrella — Restaurant in Kerala

Been recommended by my friend who runs the Dazzle villa property. At first it was a normal cafe, but when I was introduced to the brownie these were the best. The quality, the texture are as good as what we see in the upscale bake house like Magnolia, Glen in Bangalore. I was there this Sunday and took a dozen of the brownies Nutella and the regular ones. End of the week the stocks are available (Sunday's can expect limited stocks since tourist will usually pack up for return) few of their best sellers can be pre-ordered while you are in and around in Meppadi. The cafe offers you dine in options witch serves quick bites like pasta and coffee.. the filter coffee tasted absolutely spot-on... Talk to the owner who is always available he would recommend the pastry and mouses to tingle...

This café is a true hidden gem. The Nutella brownie I had here was hands-down one of the best I've ever tasted - it was rich, chocolatey, and simply divine. I also tried their strawberry muffin, which was equally impressive. The bakery skills on display here are truly impressive. Over rated cafe extremely, bad chai too sweet and over boiled, we had a burger that was terrible. Only savour was the brownie that too was so so. We read the reviews and went.
