ROOMS
The hotel has both congested and spacious rooms. We stayed in rooms no 120,119 .
The rooms were filthy, with a foul smell. We had to call the room boys to clean it up again,which they did with much hesitation .The toilet seat was broken, and the room walls were full of mold.The fan in the room was far away from the bed; there was no option to open windows as the other side was the garage for used liquor and plastic bottles.
The bed sheets and pillow covers were torn,the blanket that they provided was dirty, and they haven't seen water for at least a year.
STAFF
This is the first time we are seeing unpleasant staff who kept showing faces when asked for a change of rooms.
Within a few minutes of check-in, the staff were compelling for payment, ,as if snatching .Such unprofessional behavior
For the same rates, rooms are available at Munnar and Anachal. As we had no time and due to heavy rain, unfortunately, we chose purple after viewing the false reviews.

good stay with a good view of the tea plantation and wonderful scenic place and enjoyed the climate at chinnakanal. Food is not served at the resort and nearby restaurant are not that except for road side vendor who prepares good fresh food and friendly service. The sarath Inn opposite to resort provides good food but will be difficult for tamilian as kerala food is served here. Karuna restaurant not good food and not much crowded so very average food. Dream restaurant and Josco is very deserted. Josco since deserted serves the previous day food.

Pretty normal place, a bit too overpriced though. We were coming after a 6 hour long jeep safari and trekking, we decided to freshen up and take a break for a few hours. While we thought we had the room till 1:30 pm, there was a slight miscommunication and we learnt that we had to leave after 1:30 hours... Which made no sense but whatever. So that was a huge inconvenience, and a bit of a drag cause we were totally sleep deprived.
Anyways, coming to the room itself, nothing particularly noteworthy in and off itself. Can get hourly stays if they have free rooms. Subject to availability.
