Tirur Tourist Home — Hotel in Kerala

Surprisingly it's awesome. It's quite economical and very convenient for the visitors to Tirur as it's bang opposite the Railway station.

It doesn't have the flashy look or decor of a good hotel (there are many nearby) but check out the pictures that I have posted. Its quite good and comfortable. The reception when we walked in at 5:20 am looked a bit shabby as the receptionist was sleeping there, but later in the morning it was clean.

Drawback as such is that it doesn't have it's own restaurant nor do they have room service. But the good thing is - just below/ outside they gave this Thalassery Hotel which serves hot hot food. Breakfast was good, tea and coffee was good and now looking forwards to having some good Thakassery dum biryani in the noon. 😀

People are very friendly. There is an SBI ATM in the railway station complex across the road and like all other SBI ATM's may not work always 😁 , but then there is another ATM just a few hundred meters away near the roundabout/ junction. Autos and busses are available all through. Mornings the roads are empty but during working hours it's crowded.

On the other side of the railway platform is the Tirur market famous for its get all products. The saying goes "what you can't get anywhere in Kerala you'd get in Tirur angady" and I think it stands good too.

The rooms decent and clean. Which is the primary factor to choose and stay. The ac was working well. Hot water was available. The toothpaste and brush was not provided. If in case your travelling here. Carry your own. Bathing soap was provided as complimentary.

No breakfast complimentary which is common nowadays. But you have very nice place to eat though downstairs.

The rates are reasonable here.

The positive is that its just outside the tirur railway station.

There was no good wifi though! That is something I would suggest them to...

A very good tourist home with reasonable price and very well maintained with clean and spacious rooms. it’s location is a plus point bcoz it’s very near to reach railway station(400m)and bus stand (500m). Very polite and friendly staffs,service is great.safe and secure parking facility is available. Decent Ac and non Ac rooms in the surroundings.food service is available nearby...
