An Unforgettable Honeymoon Retreat at Lilly's Valley Resort:

My recent honeymoon escapade to Kodaikanal led us to discover the gem that is Lilly's Valley Resort. Despite booking just a day before our journey, this impromptu decision turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Originally planning for a brief two-day stay, we found ourselves extending our visit for an additional two days, all thanks to the irresistible combination of delectable cuisine and unparalleled hospitality offered by the resort staff.

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Every member of the resort staff, from the security personnel to the management team, extended a genuine welcome, transforming our check-in into a heartwarming family gathering. Special mentions must be made for Mr. Ruben, Mr. Daniel, and Mr. Hari, whose attentive care ensured that our every need was met with a smile.

Now, let's talk about the food—prepared by none other than the culinary genius, Mr. Ajith Kumar, or as I fondly dubbed him, the "MASTER" Chef. His culinary creations were nothing short of extraordinary. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, leaving us craving for more with every bite. In fact, during our entire four-day stay, not once did we feel the need to venture outside for dining—a testament to the exceptional quality of food served here.

Beyond the impeccable service and delectable cuisine, the resort's strategic location proved to be another feather in its cap. Situated close to popular sightseeing spots, it served as the perfect launchpad for exploration. We were particularly thrilled by the opportunity to spot Indian Gaur (Wild Bison) near the resort's main entrance, adding an element of excitement to our romantic getaway.

Furthermore, the abundance of fresh produce, including avocados, peaches, and passion fruits, added a delightful touch to our dining experience. Surrounded by a variety of flowering and medicinal plants, the resort's tranquil ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Lilly's Valley Resort to couples, families, and friends seeking an unforgettable retreat in Kodaikanal. Whether it's the impeccable hospitality, mouthwatering cuisine, or idyllic surroundings, this resort truly ticks all the boxes. As for us, we're already eagerly anticipating our next visit, this time with our family in tow. Thank you, Lilly's Valley Resort, for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We can't...

What a resort!Truly astonished and amazing to be at.For families and couples it’s such a wonderful place to spend time. Not exaggerating but every penny you spend is totally worth it. We had come from Bangalore and they provided a good car to pick us from the Kodai station to the resort. Pros: We stayed at twin suite since we were 4 of us and very clean and hygienic rooms including the bath rooms. Hot water is always available for bathing. Inside the resort you have many beautiful places to roam around and very good place for taking pictures. A very good view of the city from the resort restaurant as it’s located at the hill top.The resort is so beautiful and a treat to your eyes that you might end up enjoying in the resort itself. Oh mann..The food they prepare is out of the world and mouth watering, delicious with 0 side effects and proper home food of your preference for dinner and lunch and breakfast is free(No words to describe its with so many varieties). The camp fire was so nice and totally enjoyed it. It’s from 7pm - 9pm. We had been late and just for 4 of us they lit it again. There is an indoor sports room with carrom board,Chess, snake and ladder games. We had opted for travel(not included in the room charges)from the same resort to roam around and they’d arranged a vehicle with proper planning to visit beautiful places around the city. Hats off to the planning and you would be able to cover up all the places. Personally recommend to opt for the city travel they provide since they very well know to cover up all the places without wasting your time and it’s one way route at few places and very steep. And also they very well know to cover up the max places in the same route. And we got dropped at the bus stop to get back to our town. Truly it was an amazing experience with family and we cherish it so much and so peaceful and relaxing place to be at and will surely visit and stay at the same resort. Special thanks to Mr Danny and Mr Ruben for providing all the necessities and helping us to enjoy our stay and the drivers and canteen/cleaning staffs are so very wonderful people. Not exaggerating but surely I personally recommend to stay at this place. Cons: Sorry I...

I recently stayed at Lilly's Valley Resort in Kodaikanal with my family, and the experience was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home.

The Location: Tucked away in nature, the resort offers a peaceful and green environment perfect for a relaxing getaway. The chirping birds in the morning and cool mountain breeze in the evening made it feel like we were truly disconnected from the noise of the outside world.

Accommodation: We stayed in one of their charming stone cottages, and it was both spacious and cozy. The wooden interiors added to the rustic charm, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. My little boy loved having his own space, and the beds were super comfortable!

Food: The in-house restaurant served freshly cooked South Indian meals that were absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and the home-style dinner—simple, authentic, and satisfying.

Hospitality & Service: The staff at Lilly's Valley deserve a special mention. They were attentive, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging a bonfire in the evening or helping us plan our sightseeing trips, they made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Family-Friendly: This place is ideal for families. The kids had plenty of space to run around and enjoy the nature trails within the property. We even spent a lovely evening around the bonfire, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

Things to Note: The resort is a little away from the town center, but for us, that was a bonus. It gave us the much-needed peace and privacy. The Wi-Fi is mostly available near the reception area, but we didn’t mind unplugging for a few days.

Final Thoughts: Lilly's Valley Resort gave us beautiful memories as a family. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic, and welcoming place to stay in Kodaikanal, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended—we’ll...

The cottages look good in pictures. Rooms are big and spacious. But, definitely not worth ₹6500/- per night. 1. Doors, windows don't close properly. 2. No dental kit or grooming kit is provided. 3. Only offer in bathroom is Clinic Plus shampoo sachet and small medimix soap. 4. Complimentary breakfast consists of only Idlly plain dosa and upma. 5. No bread omlet, no bread toast no bread jam or butter When asked for it, I was told "breakfast is complimentary sir". 6. Good thing of the room was the bathtub. 7. Rooms are clean and hygienic but, for the price point lot is expected. 8. Even Tea and Coffee is not complimentary, you will shell out ₹90/- for that. 9. In the name of cable TV only English channel available was National Geographic, Discovery and WB. 10. It's certainly doesn't provide any amenities to be called 3 star resort. It's more of a homestay and not a resort. 11. Plus point, reception desk is really good. Very courteous people and informative. Both guys at Reception are good. Vineeth delivery boy was good. Staff of the hotel is really courteous and friendly. Resort will have a swimming pool, Play room, playground etc. Don't expect any of that. It's purely a homestay with home cooked food feeling. If you are expecting a resort better Look for "Cherry Blossom Homestay" which is a new property at different location (than what Google shows) with nice spread in complimentary breakfast, good property as its new. Rooms are good. Well maintained, very courteous staff, very polite and friendly. Also, during Good Friday week it costed me ₹4500/- including breakfast. Le Posche 400 mtrs away from this has better rooms with lots of amenities, including dinner that will cost ₹7000/- unfortunately I could only go there for dinner as it was fully occupied.

This resort in Kodaikanal is a calm green place, with no swimming pool inside it. The interiors for this stay is all in wood, and have been well maintained and also the place is cleaned on daily basis. So stating tends to give Manali feel because of their complete wooden interiors. If you take the room on the top floor which is mainly 1st floor, as the stay is already at an elevation, you can almost view the sunrise and enjoy the morning tea sitting in the balcony ( common balcony and also few rooms have separate balcony, and the price increases accordingly). The food available at their kitchen is very basic with very few options available, but that is simple home cooked food and it's hygienic. So shorter the stay here is better. Or else, opt for some hygienic places outside for lunch and dinner. The stay seems very homely, as it's all surrounded by greenery, including exotic plants and trees, such as peach, avocado etc. But plucking any of it is strictly prohibited. There is lot of area to walk around within the property. Its a good stay for groups such as families and friends. Location wise also, this stay is close to various sight seeing locations. Only problem is the checkout time which is very early, at around 9:30 am. Also, the rooms are good, but they are very overpriced in comparison to the service provide.
