I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Poshe by Sparsa in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, and it was an absolutely enchanting experience from start to finish. This charming resort nestled amidst the breathtaking hills of Kodaikanal offered an idyllic retreat that left me rejuvenated and filled with warm memories.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty of the surroundings. The resort's lush green gardens, pristine lake views, and the scent of fresh mountain air created an ambiance of serenity and tranquility. The staff's warm welcome with the welcome drink and their genuine enthusiasm for ensuring a memorable stay instantly made me feel right at home.

Ms. Abhi's attention to detail in explaining the menu options, her prompt and efficient service, and her genuine care for ensuring my satisfaction with every dish were remarkable. She went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences and provided valuable recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. Her warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making every meal at the restaurant a memorable occasion.

Stayed with wife and daughter from 25 to 28 Dec 18 for 3 nights. Right from the moment you alight from your vehicle you get to feel their hospitality and warmth which they serve. The hotel as such is spread on 5 to 6 levels.. With the restaurant, spa n gym placed on one floor below Ground floor which is the reception area and also houses several rooms on 2 tiers. We stayed on one of those rooms which had a great view of the valley. Room though a little small in size but not too small as mentioned in some reviews. Yes all the rooms differ a little bit as my friends room adjacent was a notch smaller than ours but differently laid out. Rooms as such has all the amenities like toiletries including towels, tv, room heater (no AC & not needed) Tea/coffee electric kettle with daily replenishment of respective items. 2 medium size bottle of water daily. Food is the highlight of the hotel. Their buffet spread has so much varieties to please all taste buds with live counters for Rotis during lunch/dinner and dosa/egg preps during Bfast... And restaurant service is almost glitch free. Another pleasing factor is the smiling service rendered right from the manager to the last person in chain of service. Room service is prompt and superfast I must say. During the festive period of my stay, they also sent in cake, cookies and homemade chocolates daily to our room alongwith 3 varieties of bottles juice. They also have a kids indoor game area with sufficient games as well as a small outdoor game area with minimal options. The evenings from 7pm features some or other programmes at the banquet hall on 2nd level down. First day of our stay had Magic Show and Housie game. Second day Karakattam dance and 3rd day was Family Fun games and dance. Kids were the happiest lot. We planned our tour of kodai from morning to late noon and were back at property to enjoy their fine hopspitality. Additional notes Road leading to the property is little country style or in bad condition for atleast 1km. Sufficient parking at property. Spa, Gym though not used by me, is an additional attraction. Excellent view of Kodai valley. Travel Desk available for tour plans. We didn't require it as we travelled by own vehicles, still they helped with daily plan to various places. Beautifully kept property providing Photo Opportunities at every turn. Mornings are warmer and by evening its cold, but mild winter clothes would be okay Thank u guys for a memorable stay. U all...

A very warm welcome by Mr.Mathew and Team, easy and quick check in, he managed to get our family a valley view room (802) and another hill view room (702) near children play area, he was a gentle person and responds to queries to the point, coming to Rooms, they were clean and just perfect for a family. But while we stepped in to 802, too much of air freshener smell, when we opened up windows for a while, it got set. Room service was good, in one of room, room heater was smelling and they replaced immediately. Hot water gets ready in about 30 minutes intervals within each room, dryer, kettle,... It was around 7.30 pm near to resort, 500 mts away, while we drove back from murugan temple, we saw almost 8 Bisons and one was crossing our car, like T-rex comes near to your windows in Jurassic park, that was the highlight of our trip.

Tip-never ever horn, just be clam.

Coming to food department, man it's 👌 excellent, Mr.Ganesh usually welcome us with a smile. Buffet Dinner was excellent with vast menu of veg and non - veg, heard people come here especially for their food. They didn't have lunch buffet, but ala carte menu was good, kids loved their dish names. Breakfast buffet it was pretty perfect to start the day, strawberry milkshake was excellent on the day we went. Staffs were kind enough to serve me food from live counter(dosa/omlette) and it was complimentary.

Trust me Le poshe is really stands to its name, we left with good memories.

A few things as feedback to resort mgmt.

Tiles might be slippery outside during morning mist, probably a clean carpet is a simple solution to overcome in the pathway to rooms.

Child play and Snooker table could be active and much more games to entertain

Paint entrance pointer board to resort, it got dull, we saw 2 or 3 boards 500 mts away.

Lastly i would have been happy if a small cake on my bday ;-), the day we stepped in, I understand it was busy weekend, staffs...
