The property is a part of misty mountain housing society, which is a group of cottages owned privately by different people, some of which are being let out for the homestay company. Each cottage can easily accommodate 4 people as the bedroom has king size bed and the hall has a nice sofa cum bed. The location is adorable with beautiful view, but the homestay part is managed really bad. The rooms are not ready on time, no towels kept in the bathroom, no coffee maker as listed, no bathroom slippers as listed, no manpower to handle any request, absolutely no room service for food and absolutely no WiFi! The curtains are really transparent and torn, while it is listed as blackout curtains. The TV is a 14” box with limited channels. The manager Mr. Swamy is very nice, but it feels more like a one man army with only a chef, a helper and couple of ladies to handle the whole affair. ||When you step in, don’t even think of using the wardrobe – as per Mr swamy, it belongs to the owner and you are not allowed to use them as it is locked by the owner! The breakfast is very limited with idli and dosa / idli and poori but you will not be disappointed – whatever is provided is very good. Generally, food is very good but the timings are also very limited.||The access road is in real bad condition with steep climb along with huge craters so don’t take any delicate car there or you will...
Read moreI recently stayed at a resort in Kodaikanal, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The check-in process was chaotic, with unhelpful staff who seemed disorganized and uninterested in assisting us.
The room was in poor condition—dirty linens, broken fixtures, and an unpleasant odor. The promised "beautiful views" were overshadowed by a view of a dilapidated building. The amenities were lacking; the pool was filthy, and the dining options were limited and tasteless.
To top it off, the noise levels were unbearable, with loud music playing late into the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The service was incredibly slow and indifferent, and any complaints we made were met with apathy.
Overall, I do not recommend this resort to anyone. There are plenty of better options in Kodaikanal that actually care about their guests. Save your money and avoid this place...
Read moreThe best attraction is location and rooms. A decent resort good for both family and friends.
Rooms: The rooms were clean and it had open kitchen with dishes. The bed and sheets were good. We stayed in the upper deck the view was really good and in the evening you get chill breeze that would literally freeze you.
Location: It’s little far from the city centre and the road to reach the resort is steep so better have good driving experience or driver. The resort is built on a very big land area, they have garden area, play area, restaurant and kitchenette, etc.,
Amenities: Little disappointed here since they only gave the rooms, there was no toiletries and the restaurant was charging very high price and they only prepare after we order because most of them doesn’t buy it from there.
Attraction: The view from balcony and bed room is the...
