Hotel Sea Castle — Hotel in Kolkata

Location: In Parnasree Pally, right on the street. Decent quiet locality, not too many screeching horns and traffic which makes it perfect for an afternoon nap if you have done on overnight journey.

Rooms: It is well suited for a business trip. We had a deluxe and an executive room. Deluxe room is like one would expect a bed, decent enough wardrobe, small walking areas on the sides, a TV and a just big enough bathroom. 2 adult males would struggle in a deluxe room although it is a double occupancy.

Executive room: Has a small living or a seating space and a slightly bigger bedroom and and a bathroom.

Both these rooms were very clean including bathrooms. Some toiletries are provided.

Service: Very good, prompt. No complains.

Food: It was a pleasant surprise for us. Given the budget-ness of the hotel we expected an Ok-Ok type of food taste for the 2 nights we were there but the food preparation and taste of the meals were great. It goes to show that the cook and hotel does really care for it's guests. We ordered a hist of variety from their menu from Plain Rice, Dal to Tandoor items to Chinese to Mutton to Chicken to Fish and all was gratifying.

Recommed it for a short business trip in this...

A good and clean hotel, the best part is the supporting nature of staff, they can provide you customised meals like khichdi and fresh fruits out of menu on demand, lift is old style, service staff is good, rooms are very small. Don't order shahi paneer expecting it to north indian style, this hotel will serve you with white and sweet gravy and if you have ans to have an indulging meal, you will surely be upset, the worst part will be they will not tell the customer at the time of order that it come with white and sweet gravy and even if you don't consume or take it, they will charge full amount for their mistake of not letting customer know this in advance, in other places they tell you that it comes with white and sweet gravy and you have an chance to change your mind and order...

This is only Hotel in this area if i am not wrong and which is New ,It was very good experience to stay at Hotel sea Castle . Many taxi people are not aware of this hotel as its new .The room which i stayed had small living room with main bedroom which i felt nice . The interiors are superbly done . But the price is not that cheap if you happen to stay long . Food is good which again is little expensive . This expensive term i am pointing out with reference to the area in which the hotel is situated ,totally residential and typically a small town like feeling and very quiet after 8 pm itself which is good for me . Surely the staff are extremely nice and helpful but Man force is very less . Yes surely will stay again...
