Mayuri Residency Mahabaleshwar — Hotel in Maharashtra

Mayuri Residency. A cool, calm and peaceful place to be in. Even though it's little scary to go into the road to reach here, but it wasn't later on. They have nice, clean and hygienic rooms, the family's behaviour, kind nature, helping, caring and the way they take care of the visitors they have is commendable. They serve us home made food (on demand with minimal charges). When we reached there they served us a thali consisting of Masoor dal, matki (pulses), rice, dal, 2 roti and Achar.. it was yum to enjoy the home made food. For the breakfast they asked of we want anything specific, but we didn't wanted to leave Kandha Poha, so yeah we had it. The stay was overall wow and will definitely visit again. Thanks to uncle, aunty, Mayuri sister and Kunal for everything and made our stay worth living. Also, if you (Kunal or Mayuri) are reading this, we (Raghuwanshi family) came from Ulhasnagar and my sister's son Naitik played with rainbow (ur pet). You have much better choices at same price. Location is very bad. Quite isolated. My kids didn't liked it at all. I canceled my booking after reaching there. Requested owner to refund 50% amount (at least) which he denied. It's our fault that without visiting location we booked online. Ultimately we left with in 10 mins and stayed at good resort on Panchgani road. Lesson learnt:: You make sure about location...

A good place to stay for families. Clean and tidy room. Good views and security because the host family stays downstairs. Home-cooked food is served which is delicious. Host family is very friendly and helpful. They will provide taxi for sight-seeing so we had good clean taxis with reliable drivers. Not flash like modern hotels.
