Nivti’s Hornbill Nest — Hotel in Maharashtra

I stayed here for a night with my wife in January 2023 Wonderful place, straight out of a picture book, the beaches here are considerably clean and uncluttered, a truly bewitching place indeed, one of my favorite beaches in the whole of Sindudurga, I cannot explain the beauty of this place in words alone, do visit to have your own unique experience. The accommodation - The tents are so-so, there's nowhere to stow away your belongings/luggage, you'll have to pile them on the floor, you do get kind of a wooden rack where the sheets and extra mattresses are kept, but it was all shaky and wonky, and could not take any more weight than it already did. The tents do come equipped with a small bedside table, enough charging points, and a fan to keep the mosquitoes away, a functioning AC and 24*7 running water is always available. The bathroom on the other hand is better than the sleeping quarters! very orderly and spacious, the bath fittings were very chique, toiletries are provided, the food was very decent, nothing to write home about. The staff are nice and polite, when they are paying attention, Siddhesh however does seem aloof and not bothered, looks like he’s stuck in a job that he does not really like. To be honest it's not a bad place at all, however the pricing is a game changer, 6 grand for a night with limited food choices and a raggedy tented living quarters do not cut it for me, there are better places available amongst the shoreline that add value to your 6K, there are more reasons why I say this: There is no car park, you have to deviate from the main road, take a small beat up trail and there's a clearing to accommodate two cars, and that's it, if you do try to squeeze another car in there, then all 3 are stuck, period. So there are 4 tents, and parking enough only for 2 cars, there could well be more parking space near the main road, but that would mean a walk down the rugged train with all your luggage in tow. Let's say you do manage to get a parking space at the allocated space closer to the tents, walking down there and getting up will be tedious if you have older people or kids with you. Scenic, beautiful and calm😍

Life’s one of the best time I had at this place, loads of beautiful memories. I have visited this place with pet dogs, I must say this is one of the best pet friendly resort, we and pets enjoyed a lot. It has private beach with river submerging to sea….which is something unique adding to this places beauty. Perfect blend of sea, mountains,beach, jungle and river at one place. Super-Duper scenic, clean beach front. Isolated,calm, quiet but safe place to be with family. Host and staffs are very humble and helpful, food was so tasty and affordable too. Room was very neat, clean & cosy. Host or property owner (dhyanu) is very friendly and humble guy proactively taken care of all things in advance or on time like food priorities, check in/out, baggage pick up and drop. Just one request to owner please add some sign board on multiple location of the road(as it’s too far from main roads and highway) and parking, trek path so visitors can easily reach to the location (we had to stop multiple time and asked to pedestrians/villagers for guide, And there is no mobile network in that area so we couldn’t able to call for guide) which makes initial experience bad but once you reach to the location then there are many helping hands and seeing beauty of location you would forgot all the huddle to reach there😜 Must visit place to the people who love nature, calm-quite-serene places before...

We stayed here in January 2024. It was the best experience of staying here as you'll get a kind of personal beach access, a very very quiet environment and a beautiful view to sit and relax or chill with friends. At first glance you'll really enjoy the place and overall environment. There are 4 seperate tents available to stay. The food quality served there is also very good and at a reasonable price. The service of the people available there is excellent..👌👌 There is nobody to disturb you if you are staying awake at night at their personal space. At night this place feels very awesome and attractive.. No network to any simcard but wifi facility is available. Bathroom and washroom are clean. Hygiene was maintained at its best.

Now let's come to a few cons that we had experienced: We paid ₹7000 per night for 1 tent (which I think is a bit expensive as there are no other activities available at stay other than the nearest beach) but for 1 time experience it is okay.

There is no parking space available near the stay you'll have to park your vehicle near the main road and climb down to this stay.

It is located at an off beat location so there is no hospital emergency facility nearby other than Kudal city which is around 30kms away. So keep your regular and emergency medicine with you.
