I recently had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Karjat, for three days as part of a corporate event with my company, Envista, with a group of over 100+ colleagues. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless, comfortable, and truly memorable.
Check-in & First Impressions:
The check-in process was smooth despite our large group. The staff was well-prepared, courteous, and efficient in ensuring that everyone received their room keys quickly. The lobby’s ambiance was welcoming, with elegant décor and a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for a relaxing stay.
Rooms & Comfort:
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with modern amenities and a balcony overlooking lush greenery. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after our long corporate sessions. Housekeeping was prompt, and any requests were attended to without delay.
Food & Dining Experience:
The buffet spread at the restaurant was fantastic! From Indian delicacies to continental options, every meal was a delight. The live counters and dessert section were especially impressive. The chefs and restaurant staff ensured dietary preferences were accommodated, and the service was impeccable.
Event & Conference Facilities:
For our corporate event, the banquet hall and conference facilities were well-equipped, with excellent seating arrangements, a high-quality sound system, and seamless coordination by the event team. The staff was proactive and ensured that everything ran smoothly without any glitches.
Recreational Activities & Amenities:
During our leisure time, we explored the beautifully maintained pool, the spa, the turf, and the recreational areas. The infinity pool with scenic views was a highlight, and the indoor games and outdoor sports facilities added to the fun. The spa services were rejuvenating, making our stay even more relaxing.
Service & Hospitality:
What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone was warm, professional, and always ready to assist. Special thanks to the event team for their dedication to making our corporate gathering a success.
Final Thoughts:
Radisson Blu Karjat is a perfect getaway for corporate events, family vacations, or weekend retreats. The combination of luxurious accommodations, great food, excellent service, and a peaceful ambiance makes it a highly recommended stay.
Would definitely love to visit...

We recently stayed at Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Karjat, and our experience was extremely disappointing — especially given the reputation of the property.
I had booked a premium room well in advance, clearly mentioning in my email that there would be four of us — myself, my husband, our 4-month-old infant, and her caretaker. I had specifically requested a cot and a spacious room so we could be comfortable without feeling cramped. This was precisely why I opted for the premium category.
However, upon arrival, we were informed that premium rooms were not available. This was shocking because our booking had already been confirmed. Instead, we were offered what they claimed was an “upgrade” to a business class room. Upon checking the room and verifying online, it was evident that this was not an upgrade at all — it was in fact two categories lower than the premium room we had booked and paid for.
The fact that a staff member, Farhana, insisted on calling this a “higher category” was deeply disappointing and misleading. This was not just a misunderstanding — it was a clear misrepresentation to a paying guest.
The check-in process turned into an ordeal, taking nearly one full hour with an infant in my arms, leaving us frustrated on what was meant to be our first road trip as a family. Only after repeatedly raising the issue with the management were we offered a two-room villa. While this might seem like a good gesture, it was located far from the main property. During heavy rains, we had to constantly wait for a buggy to take us back and forth, which became extremely inconvenient with a baby.
For a brand of Radisson’s standing, this experience was far below expectations: • Confirmed bookings not honored – premium room unavailable despite advance confirmation. • Misleading communication – staff claiming a downgrade was an upgrade. • Extremely slow check-in – nearly an hour’s wait with an infant. • Inconvenient “compensation” – villa far from main amenities, making movement difficult in the rains.
What should have been a memorable and comfortable first trip with our baby turned into a stressful experience. A renowned property should ensure seamless check-ins, honesty in communication, and solutions that actually suit the guest’s situation — not create more challenges.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure no other guest has to go...
Read moreRadisson Hotel Karjat– Beautiful Property, But Management Needs Urgent Improvement I recently stayed at the Radisson and while the property itself is undeniably 5-star—beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained—the guest experience was let down by poor management and a lack of basic coordination. Property: ★★★★★ The hotel is visually stunning with lush landscaping and well-kept interiors. Housekeeping was excellent and deserves a full 5 stars for cleanliness and upkeep. Food & Restaurants: ★★☆☆☆ The food was average at best. What really ruined the dining experience was the overwhelming presence of flies in the restaurant area. It was incredibly off-putting to eat while someone ran around with a fly swatter. This issue needs immediate attention. Service & Management: ★☆☆☆☆ We had booked two rooms—one via MakeMyTrip and the other via the Radisson app. Due to a last-minute change, we needed to cancel one room. When we approached the hotel manager for help, she was completely clueless. Instead of assisting us, she said, “You booked via the Radisson app, so I don’t know—you have to cancel it yourself.” As first-time users of the app, we found this unhelpful and frustrating. We had also booked a superior room located in another wing of the hotel. It was raining when we arrived, and we waited for 20 minutes for a buggy, which wasn’t even covered. The staff didn’t know how to handle the situation. Eventually, the manager called a Scorpio to pick us up—but this level of disorganization is unacceptable at a property of this standard. Other Experiences: At high tea around 4:30 PM, no one was serving anything. The staff seemed to be waiting for instructions, and only after a guest argued did they begin to serve tea and snacks. Again, it reflects a lack of coordination. Overall Experience: It’s a lovely property, but the hotel is clearly understaffed or mismanaged. The team seems overwhelmed and unable to handle guest flow efficiently. I’ve stayed at several Radisson hotels where the staff is warm, welcoming, and proactive. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case here. Final Thoughts: The Radisson management team seriously needs to review the guest service operations at this property. You can have the best infrastructure, but without proper management and guest care, the overall experience suffers. I hope senior leadership takes note and makes the necessary...
