Hotel City Crown — Hotel in Mandsaur

I am writing this review from Room No 207 of this hotel and have been pretty impressed with this setup, never expected such a hospitality from this city. The hotel is just two year old and looks quite new in its appearance. The reception though is present in the ground floor of a mall, however your perception would change as you go up in the elevator. I am staying in their deluxe variant, room a bit compact however has all the comforts including a good air conditioning facility, Lcd TV and kettle. The hotel provides 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water however the toiletries are below average. The toilet has a geyser facility and was spic and span. The complimentary breakfast has limited option but was nice. Do try their deluxe thali and veg varieties and that too at reasonable price. The service is good, the only issue found was that they would take 2 days to deliver laundry which o felt was a let down. Happen to visit Mandsaur for Business, Booked this Hotel for double occupancy for one day.||||The ambiance is neat and average you can expect this much in such a small town.||||Just for convenience i had opted for Executive Suite Room as rest all are charged below 2k where as Executive Suit is charged 4k per night.||||Most of my surprise there is no difference between all qualities of rooms except Executive room has Jaqquzi in it which is not upto the mark.||||Complementary breakfast is available but does not have any assortment and very limited menu and that too Veg and with average taste.||||Even after spending 4k you can not get Mineral Water, you have to pay double price for each water bottle.||||Staff is very arrogant and does not have sense of professionalism...

Comfortable hotel - nice spacious rooms and toilets with modern fittings, comfortable and with good service. A highlight is the rooftop restaurant, open on three sides, and nicely decorated. However, the quality of the cuisine definitely needs to be worked on (the buffet breakfast is inadequate and many of the dishes are not well-prepared) and so does the housekeeping (the lien and towels are more yellow than white, and frequently stained).
