Mandav Heritage Resort — Hotel in Mehandikheri

I recently stayed at Mandav Heritage Resort in a private pool room, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.

Pros: ✅ Basic amenity kit provided ✅ Food taste was good ✅ Nice location and property surroundings

Cons: ❌ Very poor housekeeping — the room was dirty when we checked in (found a used diaper behind the sofa, chips beside the bed, and insects in the private pool) ❌ Stains on bedsheets, blanket, and pillow covers; when I complained, the manager casually said they were washed but the stains don’t go away ❌ My request for room decoration (added while booking on their website) was completely ignored, and the manager(Mr. Ramesh) didn’t take it seriously when I mentioned it ❌ Only one bathrobe provided, which was torn ❌ No hot water in the bathroom ❌ Mosquito repellent provided but it wasn’t working ❌ Complimentary fruit basket had spoiled apple ❌ Most of the items on the menu were unavailable ❌ Service was very slow — waited over an hour and called 3 times just to get the room cleaned (right after check-in) ❌ During checkout, I requested a rough cloth to clean my car’s back glass myself, but even that was not available ❌ Not at all worth the price we paid for.

Overall, the property has potential due to its location and food quality, but the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and casual attitude of the management completely ruined the experience. Definitely not what you expect from a heritage resort.

Cleanliness: No, room was not clean at the time of check in. Made multiple calls and then at 3:15 - 3:30, the room got cleaned. Lenin got replaced at 7:16PM (time when i clicked the pics. Ask Krishna if you need more details)

Room Decoration: Then please look into your website. I got a pop-up that said "any special request"? on which i asked for decor. Also, please share where exactly is it stated (I did not found anything on this on your website) "clearly stated during the booking and in our reservation voucher."*

Amenities: Again, i wrote only one bathrobe was found (Please confirm with your staff named- "krishna". Told him about it)

Hot Water: Specifically mentioned about hot-water in bathroom. was not at all expecting hot water in pool.

Mosquito Repellent: Again, nope, it was not working and told that to your staff.

Complimentary Fruit: We source fresh fruits daily for our guests, especially for VIP and private pool rooms. We regret if you received a fruit that did not meet our usual standards and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Room Readiness: well it was not at all addressed promptly. I mentioned the time above, please check

Car Cleaning Request: Please read the comment first. I asked for a cloth, just to clean my back glass myself I was not expecting someone from your staff to clean my car. Just needed a cloth- that too a rough one. That's it.

I do not wish to argue or escalate this matter unnecessarily. I only wanted to share and highlight my experience so far.

After going through your and Mr. Ramesh’s responses, it seems to me that the focus is not on resolving the issue, but rather on covering up the mistakes made by your staff.
