Ajem-Lar Homestay — Hotel in Nagaland

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Scarllete’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing — if not better.

Scarllete went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even leaving a few thoughtful touches like snacks, bottled water, and local tips for things to see and do. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable,the washroom was super clean with all the amenities and the entire space felt cozy and inviting.

The location was perfect — close to everything I needed but still quiet and peaceful at night. I truly appreciated how responsive and friendly Scarlette was throughout my stay; it made a huge difference.

I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay again in the future. Thanks again...

I stayed at Ms. Scarlette's place Ajem Lar Homestay at Dimapur, Nagaland for attending a academic program at CIHSR from 15 to 22nd June 2025. Long 7 days of stay! Check in was seamless with Scarlette. Day 1 was really difficult due to severe power failure, the AC was not running which repeats on the last night too. Other days were perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Though I cook only coffee in those days! Room is very good with attached drawing room, kitchen area and neat and clean bathroom.👍 Attached balcony is small but really nice and worthy. Only problem was lower electricity voltage, and a foul smell at the kitchen area. In short it fullfill my needs, as it is very close to CIHSR just 5 minutes away in auto. I always travel with my two small dogs, and I was so glad the homestay was pet-friendly. My dogs immediately loved the place and started playing around, which — as a pet parent — is a total deal-maker. The rooms were simple, homely, and really clean. The fresh, gentle breeze and the sound of birds chirping, with no traffic or pollution, was one of the best perks.

Oh and the host was simply AMAZING. Coordinating the directions in the middle of the night❤️ and her patience and hospitality 🌹
