A wonderful all round family restaurant in Dimapur serving some great Naga food. Food is good and presentation is top class. Plenty of space inside including a very large kids play room. There's also a dedicated parking lot at the back. The thali I had (pork) was good but could do with some more additions such as a small serving of fried pork, king chilli chutney and some more variety in the boiled vegetables. The service for the thali is not very prompt but I'll let that slide since the place was crowded. One big negative is that they do not serve regular non bottled drinking water. Even even I specifically asked for it, they claimed they do not serve it. This is a pet peeve of mine and I definitely deduct restaurant rating points based on this. Even after repeated decisions by consumer forums mandating that denying clean free drinking water is an unfair trade practice, many places still blatantly continue to do so. I'll keep reporting them. Otherwise this is a great place to visit. Just carry...
Read moreThis is, by far, the best restaurant I'd been to in Dimapur! (I tried about 10 others) Traditional Naga cuisine with a little fusion. The food was served fresh and hot. Full of flavor! And it had something very important that I couldn't seem to get elsewhere: pork. I ate here twice: dinner then breakfast. The staff were amazing! Delightfully attentive and courteous. All smiles and great service! This place has a very unique and beautifully furnished interior. Everything is completely clean! It shows that they take pride in their business, service and food here. Also, The King Chilli is a restaurant great for any occasion or group! There's a whole extra room with a full playground for the kiddies. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Don't buy another over-spiced pizza with fake chicken. Go to The...
Read moreI recently had lunch at King Chilli Restaurant in Dimapur and was truly impressed! I ordered the Pork Thali, and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and infused with just the right amount of local spices. Each item on the thali complemented the other beautifully, from the fresh chutneys to the bamboo shoot curry and traditional side dishes. The portion was generous, and the presentation was clean and homely. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a touch of Chakhesang Naga décor that gives it an authentic feel. The staff were polite and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant. Highly recommend King Chilli if you're in Dimapur and want to try a tasty and well-prepared Naga meal. Especially for pork lovers, this place...
