Majestic Court Sarovar Portico, Navi Mumbai — Hotel in Navi Mumbai

Located at the T-Junction formed by Shil Phata Road and Central Road N in Mahape, Majestic Court is one among a slew of business hotels catering to companies littered around the Mahape area. It doesn't register as something particularly different from the rest at first glance. An reasonably spacious front yard that also doubled up as parking space welcomes the visitor first. Everything from here onwards has the mark of unfussy and casual elegance.

The interiors are distinctly that of a mid-range business hotel. The reception folk finished the check-in process at 2300 in about 5 mins and were generally friendly. Our room was on the 6th floor and we had a fairly good view of Koparkhairane and Mahape.

We'd booked the Superior Room which mirrored my thoughts on the hotel: excellent but nothing beyond what you'd expect from a business hotel of this kind. Given the price difference between Superior and the next category, I'd say Superior is more than sufficient for 1-3 night's stay. We had only 1 request (toothpaste) and were serviced promptly by the reception desk.

The king-sized bed is comfortable despite having a harder sleeping surface than most hotels of its ilk. Worked well for me. Great linens and well maintained. They had a few eatables inside the room which, if opened and consumed, are charged to the customer upon check-out. Unwittingly, we had a packet of cashews and almonds! The room had an excellent washroom to top all this and with wet-dry area separation.

The next morning, I had the free breakfast here. Again, a rather adequate affair with a decent range of items without being memorable. The sabudana vada, thick sambhar and idli were the highlights for me.

Excellent place for quick access to the companies in and around...

Had office party at this hotel on the 7th floor open terrace.. Right from the starter to dinner to DJ and last but not the least service I do not have anything to appreciate for..

1. Veg Starter Paneer in Paneer chilly of poor quality - not soft God knows the other starter which was of potato but not tasty at all..

2. DJ Songs were average but we wanted more of good music.. Worst was despite repeated request music stopped at 10:10pm. Although, it was told in the beginning that it would stop at 10:30pm. Well I knew the reason for then to stop the music completely as they wanted to wind up the session by 11pm so now you know their trick.

3. Bar counter took 3 requests to get me lemon wedges even there wasnt any rush that to when took this request to the supervisor. Mind you lemon wedges wasn't requested for the hard drinks but for soft drinks.

4. Dinner.. Oh gosh.. My area general hotelier Could make better food than this hotel.. Apart from Gulab Jamun.. Rest all items sukz..!

5. Service - packaged Drinking water was over but nobody to refill it.. Only when we informed they refilled.. Same went with Gulab Jamun..

6. Ambience was OK..!

To conclude NEVER CHOOSE THIS VENUE KEEPING FOOD & DJ in mind.. There are many good options available to serve way better than this one.. Don't believe me.. Please Try it to...

This hotel is great because every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff are eager to help & welcoming! Comfortable stay, very clean-posh rooms, staff always on their toes. The best part is its food. The buffet has ample options, the taste makes it clear the preparations are fresh & the oil unused. Serving staff remember your choices & serve even before you ask. Their General Manager Gunna Babu ensures guests are attended to even going beyond their call of duty to customise the experience. We had forgotten gold chain in hotel room & GM Gunna Babu proactively informed he has it safely with him. His upright professionalism made us so much feel at ease that we went to collect it later without rushing. We went to stay there again & had to leave early in the morning leaving kids in the room sleeping. GM Gunna Babu kept checking on the kids & when they woke up, served breakfast even after the hours were over & that too at the room. We were so much at peace upon knowing this from the kids. It truly defines "home away from home" which customers always say about this hotel. Staff makes this place what it is, otherwise a hotel is nothing but a mundane building of concrete.
