Amazing place! Highly recommend staying here. Clean room and clean bathroom. The owner is very nice and helpful. It’s very close to all the places in Diglipur..Saddle Peak and Lamia Bay (10 mins by scooty), Aerial bay ferry (15-20 mins by scooty), Kalipur beach (5 mins by walk). Guests who can swim can go to Cragey island from here. There are plenty of autos available to get to the resort. The owner can also help you rent a scooty and give you local advice.

We stayed in the resort 9 nights. Loved the location, breakfast under the palms- aloo paratha with picles was the winner, quietness (broken at times by birds and local bus-cheap and convenient means to get to Diglipur). Rooms are clean and there is space in the garden to dry one's swimming suit. Craggy Islands are the must, you can go there by boat or swim. We wish Kalipur was closer home. Andrzej and Gosia

During My recent visit to andaman we wanted to travel to north and middle andaman . I came to know about this newly opened resort from website & contacted the owner directly and made booking for 3 nights. After visiting neil & havlock we went to diglipur by road .AS we took the last convoy from jikarta ,we saw so many jarawas .We reached Diglipur in very late hours. Owner Mr. Sujit Mandal welcomed us with a smile. Resort is located 5 minutes walking distance from kalipur beach, turtle nesting site and craggy island.Next day we went to see beautiful Ross & Smith Island and Shyamnagar active mud volcano. We requested Mr. Sujit Mandal to arrange for Alfred's Cave visit. He himself accompanied us to the Alfred's cave which was a lifetime experience for us. Later we visited ramnagar beach and lamiya bay beach. Food was excellent and homemade specially the bengali dishes. We came back to port blair by car enroute visiting dhaninalla mangrove nature walkway, Moris dera .amkunj beach & jarawa reserve forest. Thanks a lot Sujitbabu for nice hospitality . We will come back...

We give Saddle Peak View Resort a 5* review.

While looking for accommodation in Digilipur everyone suggested the popular resort as well as the govt run one... we went there but didn't feel IT! ...

Once we entered Saddle Peak View Resort, it was like home. Simple clean rooms, large lawn where we could exercise, practice yoga and just chill. Turtle Beach is a 5 minute walk from the resort, Saddle Peak too was just a short scooter ride away.

Sujit is a wonderful host and his wife Sharmita makes some simple mouthwatering home cooked meals. Sujits Father, Mr. Ramesh is a treasure trove of stories about the Islands, having been a child when their family was uprooted from Bangladesh and settled in Digilipur.

If you want to connect and get a feel of the local way of life, this is the place to stay. It is most definitely not a resort but more of an extension of Sujit and Sharmita's home. What more could one ask for :)

We wish them nothing...

Hi Friends||I would like to share with you that this Resort (Saddle Peak View Resort) is located at Kalipur and not at Ariel Bay or Diglipur. It's about 17 Kms from Diglipur Bazar. Don't get confused with other hotel with similar name as Saddle Peak, which is located in market.||While the resort I stayed is nearby( about 2-3 minutes walk) Kalipur beach famous for turtle nesting. We were fortunate enough to watch the complete process of turtle laying on Kalipur beach for about an hour.||The resort is really clean and green having Serene ambience. The food is just like home made food. It's the best location to stay if you like nature, calmness, greenery and secluded places. Tourism department Turtle Resort and Pristine Resort are at about two-three minutes walking distance away from this Resort. Mr. Mondal is the owner of the resort and...
