A Refined Business Haven in Semiliguda – Hotel Imperial Inn

Hotel Imperial Inn, nestled in the serene town of Semiliguda, offers an exceptional blend of elegance, comfort, and professional hospitality—making it a top choice not only for families and leisure seekers, but especially for solo business travelers. Conveniently located along the main road, the hotel offers seamless accessibility while retaining a sense of quietude rarely found in busy areas.

As a solo business guest, one of the most impressive aspects was the hotel’s atmosphere—tastefully sophisticated, yet peaceful and personal. The check-in process was swift and well-managed, allowing me to settle in quickly after a long journey. The staff’s courtesy and efficiency stood out immediately; they anticipate needs without intrusion, offering a level of attentiveness that brings ease to every interaction.

The rooms, well-appointed and spacious, strike a fine balance between comfort and functionality. With a thoughtfully designed workstation, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and ample lighting, the space allowed me to work undisturbed for hours. The serene view from the windows provided a welcome mental reset in between meetings and reports. For a business traveler, the room offered not just a place to sleep, but a space to think, work, and recharge.

One of the highlights was the hotel’s in-room dining and restaurant services. After back-to-back conference calls or client visits, the ability to enjoy a wholesome, well-prepared meal in a calm setting was deeply appreciated. The restaurant’s menu offers a mix of comforting local dishes and familiar international options—ideal for when you want variety without unpredictability. The rooftop café, with its tranquil atmosphere, was a perfect setting for winding down with a cup of tea while catching up on emails.

Business-focused amenities at the hotel are equally commendable. The presence of a dedicated business center, meeting rooms, and quiet corners for informal discussions make this property particularly well-suited to working professionals. Even the common areas reflect quiet professionalism—never too crowded or noisy, always clean and well-maintained. The availability of printing, scanning, and concierge assistance added an extra layer of convenience to my work routines.

Security and privacy, two crucial factors for solo business travelers, were also handled with care. Access to the property felt secure at all times, with courteous but firm protocols in place. Room service was discreet and timely, and the staff respected working hours, ensuring minimal disturbance.

Location-wise, Hotel Imperial Inn is well placed for both local engagements and broader exploration. If your work requires visiting industrial sites or regional offices in Koraput or nearby areas, the hotel makes an excellent base, offering both connectivity and comfort at the end of a long day.

In summary, Hotel Imperial Inn is more than just a hotel—it’s a thoughtfully curated experience. For solo business travelers, it offers not just a stay, but a seamless extension of their professional world. With superb service, practical amenities, elegant comfort, and a quiet dignity, it transforms work travel into something far more pleasant and rewarding. I left feeling rested, accomplished, and already...

According to people this is a multi star hotel and restaurant, but what i felt is everyone's judging according to it's exterior and interior and nothing more than that. This is just undeserving for the hype. They've got nice infrastructure no doubt in it but they should've also invested some more on the service and cook.

Their service is just like other restaurants available nearby no such glorious amazing feeling. They service personnels working there are the local ones but speaking hindi rather than local language just for the sake of professionalism, but they failed measurably here. They've got a wide range variety in food but just only in the menu, it's hilarious that they don't even had butter masala, malai & dum biryanis, no tikka items too. With frustration we asked the waiter then you yourself tell us what you want to serve us that's it they served some normal indian items and nothing. Taste of the food wasn't upto mark. They're not serving the genuine authentic items rather the items they know to cook are only served here. We're made to wait for the order to get served for almost an hour. Though it wasn't so crowdy that time. So this is something to be noted! The only thing we liked is the Mushroom chilli not for the price but the quantity was good though it tasted like mushroom pepper. They're charging extra 10rs for the water bottle as service charge, i think they're either ignorant of govt. rules and regulations or they're just thinking the public is fool. While we're coming out of the restaurant we wanted to click some photographs there, but they switched off the fascinating lights and when we asked to on the lights they said we can't on this as this light alone make us pay more electric bills. It was so hot & warm inside the restaurant, when some customers asked for the a/c they said we don't know about it and we can't help you in this matter. Also note there was no such ways for ventilation. While we're having our food, two drunken men came inside and sat for food. Neither they were eating nor allowing other's to eat the food peacefully. They're just shouting and taking on the mobile phone keeping it on speakers. This is something where the hotel management failed with the security services. How can you guys allow such drunken basterds into a so called multi star restaurant.

These were the points I liked to highlight. If the hotel management reading all these please mind all the points and try to rectify all these asap otherwise the hype created for the hotel & restaurant will go in vain.

In the last, my experience was not upto mark but i believe they will progress...

No doubt it's the best in terms of ambience you can get in this area. But there is a scam going on when you go to their rooftop dhaba. The manager( or whoever he is ) comes to you and provides you a menu of roof top dhaba. After few minutes he will come n provide you with the menu chart of their resturant on the ground floor. You went to celebrate your good times with your family/ friends and order some good foods. But at the end the person comes with a bill and says since the items you ordered are of ground floor resturant and the software system of rooftop dhaba doesn't have that items ....they prepared the bills of the same amount available on rooftop dhaba. Now if you don't check the price ...most of the rates were exaggerated and you pay more than you ordered for. And if you check they will be adamant and will say the bill is prepared n you have to pay. This happened with me when I went with my family for dinner on 4th Aug 2023to celebrate an occasion to their rooftop dhaba. They completely spoiled the mood at the end of the day and after half an hour of altercation they just reduced the total bill by 10%. Even then the final payment is more than what I ordered for. The management guy came and said the price at rooftop is 20-30 rupees more than ground floor resturant....agreed...but why the hell can't you have different menus for different restaurant. Whoever all going there please check this and make this clear with them so that you don't have to spoil your special days in dealing with this...
