OYO Seabreeze Residency — Hotel in Puducherry

This property was advertised for 1.7k-special price 1.4kthe reception gave it for 0.8k finally. Washroom : No geyser, fine with me, but some people may have issue with that. Toilet seating place was tight for me. AC duct water outlet was falling in the bathroom: making it wet all the time.

Bed: white sheet - well made, but had hair of previous occupant.

Room: no space for putting luggage. Only one electrical socket working in the room, that too near the window, not near the bed. Spiders, ants, insects in the room /on the bed. One window no curtain, other window kind of no curtain; it got very bright early morning. Heavy rain Leakage from the window.

Location: Auto rickshaw takes 200 from pondicherry bus station. 5 steps from the highway, very loud all night. There are no half decent restaurants around, the Hotel also doesn't have any arrangement for food.

It should not be priced like this, absolutely not fair trade. Also there should be a lift, since this place has rooms on 2nd floor (I stayed...

I booked an A/C Deluxe room for 3 people a night. When I first entered into the room it is very dirty, its plug points and switches also damaged and its bathroom fittings are also damaged. The bed is just double cot. Not space enough for 3 people. Tv also damaged. And I turn on the AC, the water drops are coming out from the AC vent and fall on the tv. So I told it to the reception guy. He then ask us to move to next room. But in that room there is no lock in the bathroom. Room main lock handle also damaged. And there is no floor mat in the bathroom entrance. There is No curtain in the window. Some one can easily watch you from outside,,,,but unclear. And there is one teapoy without its glass and it is so shaky when you place something.

It is 6.3 km from main area. Only chunambar boat house is near to it.

Please don't take this room.. there is lot of other good rooms are available in main area of...

We booked this as a last minute booking .And Oyo was charging 9k for 2 nights stay . Luckily we opted to pay at hotel .I can't in words describe how bad was the place .It was worse than lodges .Plus attitude of the guy on the reception was horrible .He said all his rooms were booked and he can't give us room .Then change his statement as soon as we told we need room for 2 nights .However ,he sounded very fishy . Thankfully there was a better place less than 500 m away .We went ND booked room there .Also word of caution ,don't book Oyo rooms through a 3-party website .They make u run around for one confirmation .OYO customer service is pathetic I must say .I had two bad experience within span of 2 months .Never opting for...
