Hotel The Majestic — Hotel in Punjab

Had booked this Hotel via Oyo rooms for Rs 1100 per day (AC, geyser, free wi-fi & complimentary breakfast included). In this price, it was a really good option. Had it been 2k or 3k, then it's definitely not worth staying here. Stayed at Room N0. 107 - which could accommodate 3 ppl as such.||||- Their service is really good & prompt. This is the best part in fact !!||- No lift. And there are no rooms at the ground floor. So might be difficult for senior citizens ||- Room was neat & clean. If you have too much luggage, then you will face space issues.||- Linen was fine for me, however were definitely not super clean. Towels were not in great condition as well. Had to get them changed.||- AC was there. However it stopped working at night. I don't like AC too much, so used fan. However when I casually told them, they were immediately ready to change my room. I didn't take that option though to avoid packing my stuff again. ||- Washroom was neat & clean. Flush was not working properly though. Do check it. ||- Geyser was there, however it was not working. Since weather was hot, I took bath with cold water only. Told them abt it at the time of checkout. However would be good to check it in-advance (specially in cold weather). ||- Complimentary breakfast options were limited i.e. Only Parathas, Curd & tea. But it was good enough (at least for me). They served the breakfast in room only - as quickly as they could.||- Cable TV was also there & it worked fine.||- Inverter / Generator was also there. So no electricity problem.||||Overall, it's a decent option - if the price is less. If you pay too much, then you will definitely get disappointed. ||||Other things near the Hotel:||============================||- This hotel is in a shopping area only. You will get almost everything there like good sweets (Kailash Sweet shop), ATM, lunch options, Tea & Snacks like Tikki, Golgappe & all other basic shops that you can think of. If you just cross the road, then another shopping area starts & there also you have a good amout of shops to explore. Better to check these options during evening time.||- The famous Pal da Dhaba is also very near from here (2 kms). Their food is really delicious & is a must try if you are in Chandigarh !!||- I also went to Wave Cinema from here. That was also around 2 / 2.5 kms only & it was an awesome experience to watch a movie there. Loved their spacious cinema hall. I saw something like this in India for the first time...

My sister and I recently stayed at this hotel for three days and paid Rs 3000+ for each night, which is too much for a hotel of this poor standard. The lights in the hotel room are very dim which makes reading impossible. The electric kettle, TV and the AC in the room all have wires with loose connection and when help is required people don't turn up till one makes repeated calls and reminders. The glass window panes were broken in one window while in the other widow it had come off. The bed linen and towels are not clean. With two people sharing a room one would expect two towels but every day they would provide one towel and then after repeated calls, reminders and entreaties someone would turn up with another towel. This was a regular feature. Breakfast is included in the room tariff. One the first day, I asked for toast and was told that it was not available but there were ugly vegetable sandwiches on the table slathered with mayo. When I went and spoke to the person at the reception, toast was arranged. Apparently, they had run out of butter even though there are many grocery stories nearby. The staff do not seem to care about the guests. The lift is the slowest one that I have ever travelled in and it jerks a lot while starting to...

There hotel online show difference price and hotel check in show difference prices. After hotel room there show difference prices food. They give old menu in room and they charge new menu so guest can pay more charges and they make fools to public. I will order food and all by look old hotel menu and they not accept liability and ask to pay amount. This is my worst experience to come to mohali Chandigarh for rent hotel experience. I have all proff for bills n all. So I advised pls don't go such this hotel. Bolte b kuchh hai. N payment lete b kuchh hai. Zero review I want give. And major problem there some cold drinks n snake mrp is lower and they charge 2-3 times more than MRP price. This is crime to cheating public in Mohali Punjab. This not airport that 20rs water bottle they charge 100rs....
