Recently stayed at the property with my family, had a booking for 2 days. Not the best experience. The geyser in one of the rooms was not working , on informing they provided with 2 buckets of water wich were hardly hot, after reminding one of the hosts to call a technician in the morning only then was a call made. The manager came to take a picture of the geyser and upon asking him to wait for a few minutes, since my mother was changing inside the room, shivika(one of the hosts), without knowing both sides accused us of shutting doors on the managers face.I still apologized for any misunderstanding. The food was average, biryani was too spicy and old icecream was served to us. You are expected to know to inform them about your spice tolerance, they will not ask you in case you fail to do so. I apologized for that as well. I was confronted by shivika in the morning regarding these issues we had, she was not very polite until my family and the other hosts showed up. Lastly they asked us too look for a different place since we had so many issues with the place and were not satisfied, so we did. There is no communication between the staff and the hosts, they will only pretend to care and be involved but they are not. They will have an issue if you complain, they will also have an issue if you don't and will find you to be disrespectful even after speaking nicely. You would expect some basic services for the price you are paying but all you get is excuse under the pretext of homestay. We understand it is homestay and the way it works, and also willing to wait for the issues to be fixed but asking your guests to look for a different place instead of tackling the issues is certainly not it. Especially would not recommend to people who are travelling from far, you will find much better homestays, airbnbs or hotels for the price point. Thank you burj baneria for...

This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. The path leading up to this property is simply driving like a hill climbing. There is beautiful greenery all around, birds flying in the breeze and the mesmerizing sound of firefly coming through the mountain in the back.
I and my cousin visited this homestay.Without doubt one of the favorite home stays I stayed during my time in Udaipur! Upon arrival,we were warmly welcomed by Miss Veena Vyas. She is extremely sweet and has bang on sense of humor. The family was extremely friendly. We had a evening here, with an ultimate view of udaipur from the rooftop & the home cooked food which obviously added up to the experience.
We spent our evening at the rooftop as two of my cousin has to do the WFH. Lalit and his team setup all the arrangements on the rooftop for the work. The warm gesture by the end of the evening was amazing. The whole family came on to the rooftop and personally greeted one and all. The owner's son has shared his powerful binoculars to look at the beauty around.
However, what makes this place more beautiful is Miss Veena Vyas. She is an amazing lady & very down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need. She has become a great friend to mine and promised to meet one of her best friend (Leopard from nearby jungle). Haha jokesapart. The service, ambience, food and hospitality can't be found in 5 star hotel. Although, i spent the last night at The Lakend hotel that cost me INR 17,000 for a night.
Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for Miss Veena Vyas, owners son, Lalit and hotel's team, who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent...
Read moreSo it’s in 2021 jan when i along with my husband and an infant went out for Udaipur. Vlogs regarding 50-60 properties were seen, and Burj Baneria was selected. The place mesmerised me, the view from this property is so breathtaking and relaxing that I regretted my short stay in the property and wanted to extend but to my bad they were already booked. Then comes 2022… and my memories flashed for the love of Udaipur and after hunting for so many options none pleased us but BURJ BANERIA! If I put it in bullets, i would say: Awesome view- panoramic from rooms (ours was suite- the best view)
Delicious delicacies - starters, main course, desert, what not!
Ambience- Modern furniture/fixtures/clean/ hygienic
Service- Prompt
Staff- Courteous
This property is located on a hill in a village area, so the route is through a dense forest on one side and the other Military base. Though the route of hardly 1-2 km feel isolated but it’s completely safe even at midnight. I traveled with my 2 year old alone through an auto/ cab- all fine and healthy. And if you choose to drive on a four lane highway, then you are unfortunate enough to not see what Burj baneria is about.
They are continuously improvising their service. Within an year I found wonderful, latest furniture at the rooftop resturant, beautiful aroma, centralised fumigation and a variety of delicacies added to the menu. @Shivika, one of the founder of this property is a true reflection of a powerful woman who knows how to carry legacy with dignity and humanity.
Coming from delhi, owing to 8 hours job along with a kid makes me tired, but relaxing at the property, waking up to a beautiful sunrise and setting goodbye to a peaceful sunset being in the room or terrace from this property sets me at peace. I am all set to visit again in 2023 Jan to...
