Highness Desert Camp is undoubtedly a property that deserves 5 stars, but during our visit it felt like some parts were still a work in progress.
The location is fantastic—just off the highway yet giving you a true desert feel. The property has an expansive layout, and the overall vibe is luxurious and calm, making it perfect for a getaway.
We booked their Signature Suites, which are their best category tents. The tents are massive, well-designed, and equipped with all modern amenities. Having a private plunge pool is a luxury touch, but unfortunately during our stay, it was small in size and not cleaned properly, which was a disappointment. However, the main pool on the property is large, well-maintained, and very refreshing.
The staff deserves a special mention—super friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They arranged both a camel ride and a jeep safari, which were memorable experiences. In the evening, we enjoyed their high tea spread (huge and impressive), followed by a cultural performance with live folk music, dance, and even a DJ. This was one of the highlights of the stay, adding great energy to the desert night.
Dinner was a bit of a letdown. While the spread was decent, the taste was just average and could definitely be elevated to match the luxury vibe of the property. On the other hand, breakfast was much better, with plenty of good options to choose from.
We stayed over the Independence Week, and overall, it was a very good luxury stay. I do feel that during the peak season, when everything is fully functional, their services and maintenance would be top-notch. With just a bit more focus on the food quality and upkeep of the private pools, this property would easily become a flawless 5-star desert experience.
Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely—especially if you’re looking for a luxurious desert stay with cultural immersion. Just keep in mind that visiting in the right season will make your experience...

I spent two unforgettable days in the Chinkara Suites and from the moment I arrived, every detail exceeded expectations. From the warm Rathore welcome to the luxurious suite, the exceptional family like care from the staff, and the enriching cultural programs, everything was flawless.
The highlights of my stay included a mesmerizing camel sunrise ride, thrilling Toyota Hilux dune bashing, and a breathtaking sunset experience on the dunes. There was also stargazing at night which was nothing short of magical.
A special mention to Surender Singh, whose excellent customer service, dedication and attention to detail took my stay to the next level of luxury. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff members for their warmth and professionalism, which made me feel like part of the family.
I had the honour of meeting the camp owner Mr. Bhairav Singh Ji, who described himself as a Sevadaar of the guests. His humility and deep respect for his heritage left me deeply moved and filled with admiration for the Rajput culture.
For anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious and unforgettable desert experience, Highness Desert Camp is the...
