Hotel Menaal Residency — Hotel in Rajasthan

Is there any way I and rate 0 or star in negative? This review is based on my recent stay in the hotel on 7th - 8th July 2021 in room no. 319. We travelled to Kota to attend a family function and unfortunately stayed in the same hotel. The decoration etc. is good however this is only to showoff. The truth will comeout when you opt for any type of service.

There was no Fan in the room. The AC belongs to stone age and you have to wait 2 to 3 hours to feel some cooling. Electricity wiring was open in room and bathroom and the pathetic part was, we were loosing power of the room each time when we connect our charger or iron plug. 5 time in 2 hours, we lost the power of the room only due to the same reason.

There was no toiletries in the boothroom, only one small size soap was provided. And now the most interesting part, WC - as soon as you flush it, everything will come on the surface and in first time, it took 30 min to get normal.

We simply requested to change the room however the staff denied the request, stating they had other bookings however 80% of the hotel was empty.

In the morning when we again struggled due to WC n flush problems, they asked us to use the bathroom of near by room.

As soon as we took out clothes in the next room to change post bath, the room boy stopped us and said we cannot use the bathroom. We can only use the WC but for bathroom we have to go back to our room which was already sticking due to WC problem.

When I raised the voice, the reception person came and took the room key and said, this new room is booked n they cannot allow us to use the bathroom n to change the clothe.

These guys are pathetic and do not know how to talk to a customer..

Please do not book this hotel only due to interior because they are zero in the...

I stayed in Mennal Residency, Bundi Road, Kota(Rajasthan) for two days to attend a marriage function!On entrance gate's inside(right) was looking dirty with dump of tent house materials, that was not giving good look on entering to Hotel! Hotel stay was not comfortable on account of room accommodation! In Bathroom, Bath tub was having crack, much dirty below the sink and It was dirty even after attending the housekeeping staff , there was hair on floor and in bath tub! Careless housekeeping! There was dirt on bed level wall slab too! Bed side corner window was unable to close in this winter period, that caused sickness of us! Also the lights were not proper in room and bathroom! When informed and asked on reception, the fellow replied that the particular room no. 306 will be renovated! When anything considered for renovation, why it was allowed and allocated?||Means the management is not serious about guests stay at Hotel, they are tarnishing the image earned by Menaal Residency in years!||The garden space provided for functions was full of dry grass, that should be lush green! A good hotel with a nice ambience . Built in a significant area , very easy to find and reach . Front yard is good , backyard is bit small compared to the front but has a small pool in it which is suitable for newbies since not being too deep , should have been bit more isolated since people bathing in it are clearly visible from the room windows facing the backyard . Architecture is good , rooms are good and maintained . But the corridors are congested also the top flood is not even , more like a stair case design bit unfit for handicapped people rest all is okay . The banquet halls have sufficient space for ceremonies . The ground floor hall is large and lightly luxurious so is the hall on second floor . Both have a big room for lot of people I'd say again . Restrooms are genuinely good. Overall a nice hotel to conduct family functions like marriages, engagements , birthday parties etc. Had a nice time...
