⚠️ Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price

We stayed at Hotel Prime, Chittorgarh, and while the rooms were fairly clean, they had chipped walls and visible seepage marks, which made the space feel poorly maintained.

Despite describing themselves as a “premium” property, the hotel offers only very basic amenities. For a double occupancy room, only one towel was kept initially, and the second was provided only after asking. The toiletries consisted of a single liquid meant to serve as soap, shampoo, and conditioner all in one, which was quite inconvenient.

Whenever we requested any additional basic items, the staff responded with a rude and dismissive “No”, saying “It’s not in our policy.” They even mentioned that if we needed anything more, they could buy it from the market at our own cost.

Adding to the disappointment, we were charged heavily for early check-in, even though nothing special was done to justify the charge. What’s more frustrating is that the same issues have been raised in previous reviews, and the hotel only responds with sugary replies without taking any real action. Had they addressed these problems earlier, I wouldn’t have had to face the same unpleasant experience.

We paid around ₹7,000 per room, which is far too high for what was offered. The overall experience was disappointing, and the staff’s attitude made it worse.

Hotel Pride of Chittor – Honest Feedback After My Stay

I recently stayed at Hotel Pride of Chittor and would like to share my experience.

What I liked:

The room was clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable.

The hotel environment was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a good night’s sleep without any disturbances.

The staff during the buffet were courteous and genuinely happy to help, which made dining a pleasant experience.

What I didn’t like:

The room was overpriced when booked in person. I was quoted a higher rate than the one listed online, with the justification being an "early check-in" (by just one hour), even though the app also allowed early check-in at no extra cost.

Check-in time was 12 PM, but I was asked to check out by 10:30 AM, which felt unfair and rushed.

Basic amenities like dental kits and toiletries were not provided, which was disappointing for the price charged.

Even drinking water was chargeable, which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel in this category.

I wasn’t provided with a proper bill for my stay, despite asking.

The reception staff were unprofessional and rude, which really soured the overall experience.

When checking in we asked if creditcard payment was possible, reception told us it was no problem at all. When checking out it appeared that this meant that we had to pay 12,5% extra taxes on the food bill. We were not very pleased with the fact that they did not inform us about this on forehand. The explanation was that this are government rules and we should have known, they don’t have to inform guests. We tried to explain that it would have been a better service if they told us during checking in, but they were not listening to our experience. It’s not about the money, but about the lack of service and not willing to listen to our experience.||Interesting part is that after checking out our booking was cancelled. Probably to prevent us writing a bad review. Because Booking did verify if we didn’t show up, the booking was activated again. ||Besides that, we felt very uncomfortable when dining in the restaurant. A staff member was secretly making photos and videos of us as we were trying to enjoy our dinner. ||At the restaurant not all meals on the menu were available and the dishes turned out very greasy.
