I recently had the misfortune of staying at Hotel Kumbha Retreat & SPA, and my experience was nothing short of a disaster. I would strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your accommodation needs. Here's why:
Deceptive Room Allocation: Upon arrival, I was shocked to find out that the hotel did not provide the room I had booked in advance. When I approached the receptionist to address the issue, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, I was met with sheer indifference. To my disbelief, the receptionist had the audacity to suggest canceling my booking altogether. It was a blatant display of unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
False Advertisement of Facilities: The amenities listed on the hotel's website and various booking platforms were nothing more than a cruel joke. The room, which was supposed to be equipped with air conditioning, felt like a sauna. Additionally, the promise of hot water in the room was nothing but a mirage. It was a chilling experience, literally, as I struggled to get a decent night's sleep in unbearable conditions.
Appalling Receptionist Behavior: The behavior of the receptionist was beyond bizarre. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and professionalism, they exhibited a dismissive and rude attitude. It was as if my dissatisfaction was inconsequential to them. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.
Misleading Visuals: To add insult to injury, it became evident that the hotel had engaged in false advertising. The photos displayed on popular booking sites like MMT, Goibibo, and others did not accurately represent the reality of the accommodations. The stark disparity between the images online and the actual conditions of the hotel is misleading and, frankly, a breach of trust.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Kumbha Retreat & SPA was an utter nightmare. From the deceptive practices to the lack of basic facilities and the unprofessional behavior of the staff, this establishment falls far short of the standards one would expect from a hotel. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a more reliable and customer-oriented...

We got deceived by the Photographs published by this Hotel. A third class property - in fact Its primarily a Bakery on Ground Floor and they have added couple of Rooms on 2nd and 3rd Floor. First Floor is rented out to a Spa.Fourth Floor Terrace Restaurant is not owned by this Hotel. Unprofessional Staff - Basic amenities missing in the Room - we had to pay for our Bed Tea - Poorly maintained room - no Cross ventilation - In the name of a Window, the Room had a 12"x12" Hole on the Wall (The way you have it in the Jail Cells). Breakfast is served in the Bakery on the Ground Floor where you will get Poha everyday with Poori Bhaji (That's all) - don't expect anything more. When we asked the Manager why such a Poor spread of Breakfast - he mentioned that thy serve Bread, Butter Jam etc. if someone asks for it. The staff has no sense of cleanliness in the Pantry. Its better to avoid this property unless Management puts in effort to bring-up the place. There are several better places to stay in...
