We recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful farm stay in Ranthambore - Maa Ashapura farm stay and I cannot praise it enough for its exceptional qualities.
Firstly, the location was nothing short of excellent. Tucked away in the heart of Ranthambore, the farm stay offered a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility to the wildlife sanctuary.
The culinary experience was a highlight of our stay. The food surpassed all expectations and was beyond amazing. The fresh produce from the farm was used for making delicious, fresh food. What made it even more special was the chef's attention to our specific needs, ensuring a personalized and memorable dining experience.
The accommodations were equally impressive. The rooms were not only large and spacious but also very clean. The attention to detail in the design and upkeep of the rooms contributed to a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
The peace and quiet that enveloped the farm stay were truly remarkable. It provided a serene backdrop to our entire stay, allowing us to unwind and connect with nature.
The service at the farm stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly pampered throughout our stay.
One unique feature that sets this farm stay apart is the owner's passion for horses. Although we couldn't partake in the horse safaris during this visit, we were intrigued by the option and have already made plans to indulge in this adventure on our next trip.
As if this wasn't enough, they arranged a beautiful poolside dinner to celebrate my birthday. The attention to detail in organizing this special occasion was heartwarming and added a personal touch to our stay. From the exceptional location to the outstanding food, spacious rooms, and extraordinary service, every aspect exceeded our expectations. It's not just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience that we eagerly anticipate repeating on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty in...
Read moreOur family of 4 had an incredible stay at Maa Ashapura. Off the main road, the accommodation feels like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and Sawai Madhopur.
The property is lush and quiet, surrounded by trees, farmland and vegetable gardens with spectacular views of the Aravalli ranges and Ranthambore National Park. Every morning you can hear the morning prayers from the staff, I found this experience even more peaceful than an Yoga retreat.
Vikram is an incredible host and played a key role in ensuring we had a rewarding stay, that included sorting our safari transport seamlessly, planning delicious Rajasthani meals with the chef and even organising a outdoor movie theatre experience for our kids (a great experience) while we had a candlelight dinner and our meal prepared over an open fire! Nothing was too difficult to manage during our stay. Vikram is also incredibly passionate about sustainable farming, his horses and dogs on the property and the wildlife at Ranthambore.
Om Prakash was an excellent host to us as well and very passionate about Ranthambore. We were fortunate to see 5 Tigers at Ranthambore over two safaris and all the staff at Maa Ashapura waited for our return to hear about it!
The food was possibly the best we had eaten across our entire Rajasthan trip (and we dined at some well known places) the chef is Michelin star level and cooked some of the best mutton we've ever eaten over an open fire. The food alone is worth the stay!
There are a range of experiences on offer you can do through the hotel, including horse safaris and other tours - the pool was a real treat also.
Anyone doing a safari in Ranthambore should choose to stay in Maa Ashapura - it is an authentic, peaceful and positive place with no shortage of things to do and see, yet also perfect to relax...
Read moreWe had a fab time here at the farm stay - we stayed for 2 nights. However, would have loved to stay for longer to try the horse riding and nature walk! ||We arranged x2 safari with the farm stay. After some initial confusion with what had been ordered, they were extremely helpful and rectified the situation swiftly. The safari experience is a must, and we were extremely fortunate to have seen a tiger, amongst some other wonderful animals such as sloth bears, crocodiles, mongoose, and many deer and beautiful birds. ||The accommodation we had was comfortable , charming, and everything we envisioned when booking. We prefer holidaying as sustainably as possible, and this farm stay is exactly as described. It does sadden me to read a couple of negative reviews on here as they clearly needed to stay where all the tourists were - holed up in some luxury hotel lacking any cultural experience! ||The grounds are very well kept, full of flowers and homegrown produce. There is a small pool, seating areas, as well as your own balcony to watch the sun go down. ||The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the chance to eat some traditional foods. ||The staff were helpful from start to finish, namely Vikram, Mr Opi, and Randra. Thank you! ||Please also visit the traditional crafts collective next door to the farm stay, a 7 minute walk away - Dastkar - an organisation run by and supporting local women. ||Would 100% recommend for a cultural experience, and to promote local businesses. If we ever plan to return we...
