A budget trip comes with a lot of levelheadedness to begin with. One is clear on what to expect when it comes to ambience, amenities and service. And yet, this should be your last choice when it booking a budget hotel.||||Good things - Near to the national park - about 10 mins of drive; helpful staff - gave us extra blanket and pillows.||||Not so good things - Room lighting makes all the difference and less/dull lighting is an immediate mood dampner (nothing to do with a budget hotel); less / small space gives a feeling of being locked in the room esp. with no windows; Unfinished almirah - bare plywood stops you from opening the luggage; rusted taps and shower; no hot water in washbasin; poor food preparation and - no WiFi. Had the choice of two rooms, one was decent the other small, so I took the corner room. Once inside, the Ais condition did not work. So over to the smaller room. Look into the bathroom, not even Indian clean with unflushed diarrhea leftover in the toilet. Told the staff who flushed the toilet and said "Now it's clean" ||As we wanted to go to the bird sanctuary we stayed anyhow. ||Then no Wifi - will work tonight. Lakshya Palace hotel at Bhartapur is a budget hotel. This is a good hotel to stay for those who are vising for Bird watching at Keoladeo National Park. It is about 6 KMs from the entrance of the national park. They know the requirement of such visitors.
