Dear Travellers, (As per my experience the hotel does not deserves even a single star) I had gone on vacation along with my family and booked two rooms, the stay at this hotel has left me with a bad experience (28 Dec 22 to 29 Dec 22).Following were my observations:
a. During check in the rooms were ill prepared [and this too when I had called Mr Ashok Chaudhary (reception guy) and informed him that I will reach hotel in couple of hours] and since we were three members in one of the rooms, so i had already ordered an extra bedding during booking my room two days prior to my duration. The extra bed was however not placed when I checked-in and was brought later, though I had to return it as the condition of the bed was so bad, which I think no person of any level would use it. On speaking to reception person regarding the issue, the reply was more shocking, as per the receptionist he informed that "in the name of extra bedding they offer only the mattress which is placed on the floor and the same is being done in all the hotels in bharatpur". Can you beat it a hotel of such repute offering such demeaning services. After hearing such a comment, I told the receptionist that i do not want the extra bedding and i will manage it. During my check out, the extra bedding was still charged and then I had to speak and convince their management to take out the extra bedding charge from my bill. They are ready to shame their BHARATPUR to cover up their faults. What kind of trust can you have on such people or people of such towns.
b. Did not got the room as confirmed by the hotel. I had asked for double occupancy room and Mr Ashok Choudhary (Reception person) confirmed to me the same on whatsApp, however what o got was twin sharing room beds combined into one. This is the perfect example of breach of trust. If you happen to land on this hotel, DO NOT believe what this person says.
c. Basic amenities in both the rooms like curtains (separating the bath tub and the toilet) were not placed, bath tub stoppers missing, foot mats not placed, bathroom slippers missing, bed side table lamps not working. The same was done when I had mailed my complaint to the MD of the hotel, however I had wasted couple of hours since my check in.
d. No check on the playing of music and noise being made by the other guests in the hotel. Since we had come to bharatpur after doing 21 kms parikrama of goverdhan on foot, so we wanted to relax and sleep early. However, there was another family member group staying in the same corridor, who were listening to the music in high volume with their room doors open and talking in loud tone due to which my mother who is 72 years old was uncomfortable and at 1230h at midnight, I called up the reception guy and told him about the problem post this the music stopped after 30 minutes, but their talking continued. At 0100h , I went out of my room and told them to let us sleep. However I waited for next 10 minutes still their conversation in the corridor continued. Then I went out of my room with my mobile video on and went straight to the reception and informed the reception guy again. Thereafter the guys closed their room doors, however the damage to our sleep was already done. I wonder how ill educated and lack of civic sense these people possess and what kind of teaching they are giving to their children. Moreover, this was the duty of the hotel staff to ensure that such hooligans/hooliganism is not allowed in the hotel.
e. I had raised these observations to the management of the hotel but after seeing their casualness it's confirmed that the ethos of the staff and management is dead and they are just into minting money.
f. Hotel, it's staff and services is pathetic, they are not at all concerned about...
