Pratapgarh Haveli — Hotel in Rajasthan

This has to be one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Don’t let the warm yellow lighting in the photos fool you – this place is a disaster once the lights are off and reality sets in.

Let’s start with the basics they couldn’t even get right:

The bedsheets were disgustingly stained, and when we asked for a change, they brought another set just as dirty. It was as if cleanliness is optional here.

Pillows were yellowed, stained, and looked like they hadn’t been washed in months.

The blanket had what appeared to be a bodily stain, which was absolutely revolting.

The bathroom? Even worse:

The shower was rusted, clogged, and completely non-functional.

The geyser is in a shockingly rusted condition and doesn’t work, which means no hot water at all.

The toilet and fittings were grimy and falling apart, with exposed holes in the tiles.

Even the room itself was filthy – dust and grime all over the fridge, and the couch cushion was stained and disgusting. Sitting on it felt like a health risk.

This hotel is a classic example of deceptive photos masking serious maintenance and hygiene issues. It’s not just unpleasant – it’s unsafe.

Avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off sleeping in your car than spending...

A stay is real royal, even you get good service. For our bad luck we checked in quite late and due to covid restrctions, we faced some issues, but care takers made all other arrangements even we late. I really amazed to see the way this haveli built, as well as how it's maintained. We only spent one night here but I shall admire that.
