Hotel KSS Inn — Hotel in Rishikesh

The hotel has been named after the initials of the Grand father of the owner, who is keenly involved in the management of the same. A nice guy and passionate about his business, he took personal interest in our needs and tried his best to help us. First the vices- Not so close from the Airport. You still have to take a cab costing Rs 300 for the Jolly Grant, which is not complimentary. It's not on the main road but a bit on the interior side, thus aloof from the public transportation with a 7 min walk from the main road. There are not much options nearby to eat out so you will be majorly dependent on the hotel for your food. You may get a hotel in the heart of Dehradun city at compatible price if you need not stay near the airport. Now for the good part, it is a new hotel and has been excellently maintained. We received personal service at the hotel from the owner. Slippers were provided in the room to use in the toilets and to wear them for outside. How thoughtful? Extension cable was provided with universal sockets. It helped us to charge all our gadgets at the same time. Restaurant food was amazing. It was tasty and cooked for our personal requirement. Room service was great too with personal attention. Extra services like taxi, water etc were provided at reasonable cost. I stayed at many hotels as I am a frequent traveller, but never stayed in a hotel like this which offered so much personal service and made me feel at home. I needed to do some local shopping on couple of occasions. The owner sent me his staff with a bike. It was unimaginable. The taxis always arrived on or before time. The rooms were shiny and neat.
