Yatharth bhojanalaya has great presentation in terms of garnishing as well as crockeries they use to serve.It was really interesting to see whats coming next. We had ordered thalis and Chinese ( veg fried rice and Manchurian). It looked and tasted really good. Anything that was a part of thali was tasty and portions were adequate ( for a single person). The waiter who served us was gentle and polite in behavior and nearby us at all times. There was no problem in food whatsoever except one problem occurred in veg Manchurian gravy that there was a plastic thread (lookalike dental floss) which my sister recognised but we ignored, soon we got another plastic thread. I kind of ignored it but my brother in law dint like it. Waiter approached us asking shall I replace it? We humbly agreed upon it. We got a new one but taste got a bit comprised. At last we had asked for lemon ice tea specially with more lemon and less sugar. It was the other way around and we were offered extra ice and lemon juice unfortunately it got difficult to reverse the taste for 5 drinks.
Things went a bit bitter at the end specially when my brother asked for manager. As a guest we wanted to share few things:
1- There was an unattended check list which was supposed to be ticked by their staff regarding the cleanliness, maintaining, hygiene of the washroom.
2- I personally felt that manager dint need to explain it too much to us as I felt if there was an honest sorry then it would have been just over. But he kept on telling literally several times why the check list could not be done.
3- Upon discussing the same issue with my brother in law, he interrupted me numerous times, dint let me talk and I decided he is not going to listen we are advising. Instead he told us many guests have expectations which cant be fulfilled, thats true. But simply a weekly check list inside washroom two times on two separate door can be done without hassle. If it can be cleaned it can be ticked,,,, Bad bad bad.
4- We also tried discussing quite politely that there was plastic thread ( 2times) in the veg Manchurian gravy. He was not apologetic at all and told us that he advised waiter to get a new one. Well well well.....really.
5- I dint take part further as I understood he is not gonna understand.
My feedback to you is that just allow yourself to listen to the guest specially you are a manager when we are being polite and addressing something. Its our duty to address both what went good and wrong whether you do or don't its totally up-to you. Later we came to know during conversation that he was a generalist in Ndtv. If I had known in the beginning would not have addressed anything with youš. At the end a humbled apology would have been enough. They only lost the rating because of the manager. Rest...

Review:- Unprofessional Manager which will make this place lose its customers.
We had a delay in our flight so we went to this restaurant around 10 am. We ordered breakfast and were planning to have lunch at 1 pm and do take away at 2 pm as our flight was delayed to 4 pm. Staff is very courteous and food is also good but then the Manager (old grumpy) walked in at 12 and we heard him discussing with the staff that "A/C mai free mai thodi baithenge. Sab customer ek jaise hote hai order nahi hai toh jao yaha se". Note: It's not that the restaurant was flooded with customers, only one more table was occupied with a single person and rest all the table were empty also.
We went right away from there as soon as we overheard it. Hospitality is also part of the restaurant business which is missing here. I could see most of the reviews complaining about the restaurant manager only. Not sure why no action has been taken against him yet. Would recommend the restaurant owner to hire some sensible empathetic manager otherwise the manager rudeness will have all the customers running...

Noodle was okā¦but the veg uttapam was horribleā¦the uttapam had only carrot and beansā¦and when I complain about the uttapam the waiter made really bad face and said..āphele bona chaiyeā ⦠I mean dude itās a veg uttapam..onion and tomato is basicā¦seems like they donāt have professional chef for South Indian food⦠And when I complained to the manager who was pretending to be busiest man with a laptopā¦he didnāt even accept the fact that his chef has made such horrible uttapam⦠And the reason he gave that we canāt hit the taste of each customer as we have lot of customers though most of the time the restaurant is empty ā¦.he told me that its our responsibility to teach chef how to make it⦠So Sir there is only one basic style of making veg uttapamā¦one cannot make it like a dosaā¦.
And worst part is that he was making fun of my dad with his employee in front us..that if itās not good then why that guy ate is all⦠My dad is a senior citizen and he had to take medicine ā¦.. he donāt like to waste food for which he paying ..itās his audacity to eat it all and pay for itā¦
One should learn how the handle the customerā¦giving philosophical thoughts for the taste wonāt helpā¦..Firstly...
