They may coerce you to make a part payment via whatsapp to a private account even if you’ve made a payment online. With promises that they’d cancel/refund that payment. They may ask you to cancel your online booking at the last moment and make you pay cash at the premises. It will be too late before you find out that you’ve made a double payment. They may accept cash for ‘pay at property’ and still mark you as a no show and you’d end up paying double. They may demand extra cash to a fully paid booking. And if you refuse, they’ll mark you as a no show and still collect the payment. They never give out receipts for cash payments. They will make some excuse or the other. They get away with their scam as they are polite and courteous in your presence. The rooms have no windows. There’s no ventilation other than the room door which opens into the corridor. Rooms have unpleasant smell. They may claim it to be ‘new paintwork’. It’s not. You’ll be lucky to get hot water in the bathroom. They may withhold the AC remote and ask for extra payment. Or they may switch off the AC from outside and pretend it’s repaired. It’s located at a busy, noisy junction adjacent to a vegetable market.

The experience was just fine. The hotel was not well maintained. We had booked two rooms and there were maintenance issues in both rooms. In one of the rooms the washbasin tap was leaking and in the other the geyser tap handle was broken as a result we had to take shower with cold water in the morning.

There were television in both rooms but none of them worked. The guy at the hotel spent over an hour fixing it. Unfortunate he failed and so did our patience.

There is no in-house restaurant. The hotel will give you a menu for room service. In case you place an order they will get the order from the Dhaba next to the hotel. There is a total mismatch of price on the menu and the conditions of the dhaba. I feel they should be honest about the whole thing. We were told about this because we insisted that we don’t want room service and would rather prefer to sit in the restaurant to eat.

Also OYO app offers lunch and dinner options but this tie up of the hotel with OYO is over. OYO needs to update it’s app. We had booked for dinner but had to get it removed by OYO customer care whose response was satisfactory.

The only positive aspect is the pricing. At this price you get an AC room. Although one would prefer to pay a little more and stay in a quality room rather than a cheaper substandard alternative.

My stay at this place was a total disappointment and one of the worst experiences I've ever had. They lacked basic hospitality and treated guests poorly. I had booked a night's stay with a friend, and unfortunately, there was a power outage during our stay. Surprisingly, the hotel didn't have a backup power system to provide even basic amenities. The night manager's response was incredibly insensitive, saying, "Sir, aise hi garmi me raat nikalna pdega." I've never encountered such rudeness in all my travels; it was a truly terrible experience. Furthermore, the rooms were not clean, and the intercom system didn't work. The placement of the window air conditioner was problematic, as it was near a ventilation shaft, causing an unpleasant odor when the AC was on. To make things worse, the hotel's elevator was in poor condition. We got stuck in it twice during the power outage, which added to our frustration and discomfort. In conclusion, my overall experience was overwhelmingly negative, and I strongly advise against staying at this place.
